Yes, Elvis had a great voice. Those of us who have no voice training know that, although we might not understand the technical aspects of singing and why his voice was so good. But, in addition to his exceptional voice, Elvis shared his emotions and made you feel it too when he sang, especially when it was a gospel song. I believe the "secret" of Elvis' talent was that he could draw you in with his beautiful voice and his emotional performance and make you "feel" it. That's why, as this lady says, "I need to hear it again." That's why Elvis has been loved and remembered for so long, and why his legacy lives on.

Elvis was played in our house all the time. I think as we get older and have more experiences in life we can appreciate the music from our past more. I grew up with 70's & 80's music and I love and appreciate it more now than I did in the moment being young in the 70's and a teen in the 80's. I enjoy the 70's more, I listen everyday, it puts me in a happy place, times were simpler, less complicated and more forgiving.

@Mark Ehrlich He is pretty good! I love the orchestra, can't beat that. To me, however, there is only ONE Elvis... I haven't listened to Elvis in awhile since my mom passed a few years ago, it's a bit too hard still. She played his music over and over. She and her 3 sisters grew up with him and it was passed to us kids (now in our 50's) they would drag my nana to our house when my dad left for 3rd shift, the livingroom was cleared of furnishings and the music turned up and so much laughter, that is when my cousins & myself learned the stroll, jitterbug, the twist and so on. That is probably why I loved the 70's so much, we did this weekly and everyone was happy & healthy making lots of wonderful memories. The 80's had way too much loss for me in my teens. I often wonder what life would have been like had my aunts lived to be my age, probably awesome!!! We danced a ton to the Bee Gees too, they are my favorite group, I get my daily fix starting with "too much heaven" to appreciate what I have... it is simply beautiful! Thanks for the suggestion.
