I just wanna say, according to many of the commenters here, once a video has been critiqued on KZbin no one is allowed to critique it, otherwise it's "copying". I think that is totally illogical. I am offering my perspective on this video based on my years of vocal coaching a training my own voice. If you don't like that someone else has already critiqued this video then don't watch this video! Peace!

All Panic! no disco the fact that he thinks he knows brendon uries vocals and the fact he has the nerve to judge one of the greats when no one has any idea who he is and he basically said he couldn't sing a certain note right and how he acts so superior
@alexandraocchiuto49596 жыл бұрын
Randy Saint16 I love Brendon Urie and I think he's like the closest person to perfection you will ever see but sometimes artists, especially when they've been performing for over 12 years, will mess up every now and again. I don't think he thinks he's superior, I think he's just pointing out that he may not have hit a note properly. I *love* Brendon Urie but he's not always going to sing everything perfectly every time.

you have to realize that even brendon has made mistakes vocally. he does. I love him so much but even I have to stop and realize this instead of having blind love for him. the vocal coach is experienced in this field, so of course he's going to pinpoint the high points and low points. and I mean its not a bad thing, every singer has their faults here and there. also critiquing isn't hate lmao get it right.

I love how your reaction includes actual teaching and critiques, about the strained falsetto and how to transition between a full voice to your falsetto. The darker and brighter tones too- Both my parents are professional musicans, and it felt really good to hear you talk about this. Every other reaction I watched just said he simply sounded a little flat because they didn't actually know what was going on. I love your reaction to this

Oh god forbid you watch a video that 100 people have also reacted to and give your own valid input on it. THE WORLD IS GOING TO END. Jesus. I'm not sure why people are acting like it's uncommon. Thousands of channels react to the same videos. So what? If you're watching a react video you should know this by now just by looking at the suggested videos on the side. Same here, love the changes in his voice over the years. I just generally appreciate how much control and how dynamic he can be; whether he's singing old-school rock or proper jazz, he makes it his own. This particular compilation is pretty weird, I don't know why this is the one with the most views when the clips seem so random, but whatever. If you don't mind, would you explain a bit more on how to have a fuller/darker tone in one's falsetto/head voice without strain? A touch more detailed on the muscles to engage or relax in question? Thanks!

nice reaction, and loved the fact that i actually learned something new! could you react to dimash performing hello (lionel richie)? he's a super talented guy from kazakhstan with in my opinion the most beautiful voice in the world and one of the largest vocal ranges i've ever heard!

6:45 is probably my favorite performance by him ever. I sometimes walk around the house trying to sing like he did, lol. Which we all know is impossible.

Its sad you're getting shit in comments. You're teaching and even the best singer in the world has their off days with their vocal chords and he is no exception. I love brendon to no end but I completely understand everything you said. Brendon loves his old fashions and his weed and that can effect vocal chords so much. Thank you for teaching me some new things.

Honestly my favourite thing to do is watch people react to that one clip of Brendon singing Casual Affair

I wonder if the issues “releasing” on the falsetto during GirlsGirlsBoys was due to him playing the guitar, or nervousness in the studio setting. I know that if i’m somewhat distracted or diverting my effort somewhere else, I have a harder time finding the proper relaxation for healthy falsetto.
