As a vocal coach yourself, I do think that you are just the perfect person to react to a song like this which, for one is sung by a professional, popular, and really a great, respected singer and performer here in the Philippines. Gary Valenciano has been in the industry for as long as I can remember.When I was young, I already was introduced to his music. He composes and arranges most of his songs. He's also good at dancing. He's earned the distinction as "Mr.Pure Energy". Everyone just loves him, not only with his singing and/or dancing prowess but basically he is a very pious, down-to-earth man, and a good husband and a father. He is the epitome of a true person to look up to. The song "Take Me Out of the Dark" is just one of his countless hits.Honestly, it is my topmost favorite among his songs.Such a powerful worship song is very timely to be played for it gives us the inspiration to get back to our Creator and praise Him and be stronger in times of difficulties like what we are facing at present. Another personal favorite of mine from Gary's multi-platinum albums are the songs "Reaching Out to You" and "Each Passing Night". Gary V is 55 yrs old now.. He was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 14 and been insulin dependent since then..And he almost died many times because of it. Last 2018 he had a sudden open heart surgery. It was a success and he get well quickly but a month later he was diagnosed again of Malignant kidney cancer in its early stage. He undergone another operation, they took away almost 1/3 of his kidney to make sure he is cleared already. And there he is now, by the grace of God..still singing, giving back all the glory and praise to God our father. 🙏🙏🙏
