They made so much money, and yet Netflix didn't renewed and took them over one year to give us the news because they knew it would backlash.

Luke's outfit/hair is inspired by Patrick Swazy's character in Dirty Dancing (1987), which was choreographed by Kenny Ortega (who directed JATP). (The dance might also be inspired by Dirty Dancing but I'm not sure.)

The guy is a ghost that died 25 years earlier. The technology gap is significant. I think the fact it was a kid's program didn't help. Netflix had made some bad programing choices and was in a bit of a cash crunch. I was hoping someone else would pick it up. Madison being 16 didn't help. Too much time has elapsed. I don't know if the show could be restarted.

That’s why she passes though him, but she’s dreaming about him (in dance class while she’s dancing with another guy) and so now they can actually touch each other (because she’s dreaming, that’s why he came through the mirror).

In the second season, this would have been possible since they all were more solid and could physically touch. In S1 they had limited chances to physically touch since ghosts can only become solid for a short period of time. I imagined Julie being taken to court by the only living member of the group and thewe havoc it would cause to have the band poip in into a courtroom.

Would have been nice if they could have shopped the show to another service or network. MTV comes to mind or a kids channel nick Jr or nickelodeon. At this point an animated show wiith adjustments would be ideal you only hear their voices so their age is no longer a problem a good 3D recreation from the first season, so they resemble the charactrers.

Love love love this show binged it all in a day when it first came out. Seen the whole show literally over 20 times. I loved this show I am still pissed but it is just in a long line of shows that have been prematurely cancelled by Netflix. Like most recently Warrior Nun. But this show Julie and the Phantoms is still worth the watch the acting and musical talent speaks for its self.
