@Kandice M Maybe because it's in a lower range. Are you more of a soprano? If I have warmed up, I can hit higher range (only in head voice, not in a mix or belt). I can readily sing a long with alto range and male tenor without warming up. Just my opinion. Cheers.

Singing is an intuitive expression, not a technical one. Of course, she's a vocal acrobat and she uses refined techniques in her singing and does them the best, but analyzing her vocals isn't the way to access the heart of her art. You just have to listen and be moved by what it does to your spirit opposed to your mind.

Lady Donna Who says singing is not technical? It is many things, as an expression, including technical. So she’s reacting and giving her view on the technicalities of Beyoncé’s voice in this song. What you’re referring to is interpreting the song and the music in a subjective way, as in how it makes you feel, which is fine, but that’s not what she’s doing here. I don’t really see your point..
@faithandrewsoneal44674 жыл бұрын
There has to be a technique if you want a long singing career, otherwise you’ll mess your throat all the way up. It’s just like how anybody can dance, but if you want to be with a company you need lots of technique into order to not injure yourself
@popland19774 жыл бұрын
Emotion without technique risks becoming noise.

Beyoncé drew our attention to the knowledge of our own personal power (or the fight for it). Everyone, all over the earth wants to be loved, accepted and to realise their true potential through the eyes of the ‘’I Am’’! There is beauty and power in vulnerability when we accept ourselves... but do we recognise these in ourselves? Yes, we do! When we get emotional listening to this song! Your soul reacts to it instinctually. 🙏🏽 #empowerment #areyoustandinginyourway #believeinyourself #loveyourself 🙏🏽

Yes Rebecca, #youarenotalone, Queen B is back with a bang, this vocal performance right here is pretty amazing to say the least, I don't have enough words to express how I feel when I hear this song, there is a French word ' frisson' which means ... "A shiver or thrill that can be strangely pleasurable" or you can just call it a "Goose bump-inducing performance' and if there is any justice an Oscar award (not just a nomination) would be a fitting reward!

There is tons of emotion in her voice and especially in the beginning! There is a low register she provides us that I have not heard her begin any songs with. She sings this phenomenally. I had to allow her pain to come through the music. At first I could not enjoy the song but that is not entirely what this song is about - now is it. The video and the growth that this whole piece gives is so much. Quite a rise.
