OG VIDEO: • Je suis malade Lara ...
Love you all. Thanks for all the love : )
A little bit about me..
Rebecca is a passionate Singer-Songwriter/Vocal coach/mentor /impressionist/photographer/creative junkie /self- development lover not a hater.
“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well, maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumor removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also, thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self-confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel.

@@Ani-gk2im , well, because I'm a Gothic Rock and Metal enthusiast, and Fabian is at the opposite spectrum of the music I crave. In France, she is seen as the equivalent of, let's say Barbara Streisand. But hey! I don't hate her now, thanks of you! ;)

I am an American female singer and songwriter and I was bawling by the end of her performance not only can I feel her pain through her words and her vocal expressions but I can empathize with her in her song. She is a “diamond in the rough”, as many can sing but not all can write lyrics and make the audience “feel” the music written. It is important to, as Rebecca said, quit waiting and start doing what you love. There will always be haters, believe in yourself. I know I need to do something with my talents too. Just started watching her channel and I don’t think listening to this particular video was a coincidence and I can now say I am a fan of both Rebecca and Lara Fabian!

Lara fabian is our international treasure. She is simply one of the best technical singer coming from Europe. She has like 10years of opera singing lessons under the belt so she learnt how to mix up vocal technique, beauty of the tone and emotion at the top of human limits. She has now more than 30years of singing carreer and still slaying all of her songs. Here, she's at her vocal prime, she was clearly above everything and everyone, capable to belting out during 2hours without any sign of fatigue or strain. Don't know how many lara's song you've had react yet but the english-must song are "Broken vow", "Love by grace", "You're not from here", "adagio", " to love again" and "I am who I am". Then she has lot of incredible french songs like this one ( written and singing originally by Serge Lama), "tout" ( meaning "everything"), " je t'aime" ( meaning "I love you"), "Si tu m'aimes" ( meaning "If you love me", the original french version of "To love again"), "Parce que tu pars" ("because you leaves"), "Aimer déjà" ( can be translate as " to love already"). She also have "Caruso" and "Perdre l'amore" in Italien. And a lot of classic of the french culture like " le blues du businessman" ( "businessman blues"), " le monde est stone" (the original version of The world is stone") or "Calling you" ( originally from Bagdad café)

@@skylerpowers8871 I'm pretty sure Lara didn't wrote it. "From Wikipedia: The Adagio in G minor for violin, strings, and organ continuo is a neo-Baroque composition popularly attributed to the 18th-century Venetian master Tomaso Albinoni, but actually composed by 20th-century musicologist and Albinoni biographer Remo Giazotto, purportedly based on the discovery of a manuscript fragment by Albinoni. There is a continuing scholarly debate about whether the alleged fragment was real, or a musical hoax perpetrated by Giazotto, but there is no doubt about Giazotto's authorship of the remainder of the work. " The most I know she did was rearrange it, like all singer do.

Lara Fabian can really do anything to you. Anything she pleases. She can make you cry, laugh, stare in disbelief, think, forget to breathe, put your hands up and freeze on your seat. Her emotive abilities combined with a battalion of vocal colors can transform you into a puppet, instinctively reacting to any given stimuli and following every move, however subtle it may be. It is really not easy to reach that level of expression as an artist. I had the joy of seeing her live last year here in Greece and was completely and utterly devastated. One of the all time greats.-

I feel so privileged to have heard Lara live twice. She delivers always. Her vocal cords are rock solid strong. She sings from her toes, you can see her tremble or role her eyes. Yes. I agree. There are definitely similarities to their voices but there's a depth to Lara that I just haven't heard from Celine. Maybe it's like watching a great movie with good actors but you never forget that it that famous actor playing that role. But then in another actor disappears and *become* the character, even without effects their face and body changes as they embody that character. I think that I am always aware that I am listening to Celine; here is C singing a sad song, a powerful song, a hopeful song. But I think that L disappears into songs like this where you have to, as Rebecca said, "find that place in you/part of you" to actually sing it well. Lara became that woman who had become so ill because of this relationship. You might know in your brain that somebody else wrote this song but your heart is convinced that she is singing about her own experience for the first time.

She somehow managed to encapsulate life’s emotions in a four to five minute song. So beautiful. You know she once said, “I truly believe it’s impossible to explain how to genuinely write a song. Something happens that I can’t say with words, it’s like something crosses my body, a melody comes out of me and then suddenly that melody speaks. There is something magical about that, there is something you can’t explain that goes through you, like a storm, like something blossoming, like why are we here and breathing in a light?” She is a magical artist. Thank you for your reaction. Like Lara, you too are a beautiful soul, and I enjoy watching you 💕

The song was written by Serge Lama who wrote it mostly in "20 minutes", just wrote his feelings. The song was interpreted later by Dalida and Lara Fabian. I guess many people can feel and connect to what Serge Lama wrote, just beautiful and emotional lyrics, and I love this lara interpretation of his song probably the most.

Lara is pure talent and amazing artist! I read some of the comments and I can't believe the rudeness, why so much cruelty???? You don't have to like someone's performance but you HAVE to be respectful; life is made of different tastes, it would have been such a boring place if we all had the same taste... Respecting a talent doesn't diminish you!

She (Lara) really can tell a story with her singing! There are many good singers, with perfect technique, who can not tell the story of the song, the emotion of the lyrics... Lara Fabian is pure emotion! Now, to complete the triology, you need to react to her singing "Caruso"!Love your reactions!

I’m so happy that people love french in this comment section! I’m from Quebec and we are so proud we had the chance to have her as a coach on The Voice/La voix! When she sang Je suis malade with Genevieve that was so surreal! We have so much struggle here in Quebec about speaking french cause we are the only one who don’t speak english as their first language in Canada... thanks to everybody you’re amazing and it gives me hope we can find a compromise between languages! As you see I speak french and a little english I try really hard to learn english as well sorry for my mistakes 🥰🙆‍♀️

Lara rewrote Broken Vow for Jackie Evancho at the request of her manager David Foster for ten year old Jackie's blockbuster album 'Dream With Me'. The live performance at her 2011 PBS Special in Florida has apparently been taken down b/c I can't find it so this will have to do for now. The young man at the piano is concert pianist Conrad Tao. The orchestra is a collection of Florida's finest musicians, hand-picked by Jackie's musical director David Foster; kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnKaqp6ZZq1oaaM

Lara is incredible! She has been my favorite singer for 25 years and she knows how to connect to a song and how to convey that emotion to the public. She is passionate, genuine, kind and caring and all of this shows in her performances. Look for her performance with Johnny Hallyday if you want an overdose of passion! She has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard and she diligently works on her instrument every single day. "You're not from here" and "P... De grand amour" are favourites of mine, but I love all she does. Look for her duet of "The Prayer" with Michael Bolton, it's another great performance by both artists. On a side note, I am French from Quebec and my husband is Anglophone and he can't stop listening to French artists from Europe and Quebec as he says that they are more passionate in their delivery than most, and I have to agree! 😊💕🎶

She always gets emotional feeling like crying when perform throughout this song all the time. She had another perfect performance already in her tour where she sang the climax without micro while the pianist stopped playing the piano and then ending the song by lying down on the floor such as she was really extremely sick without her lover. I always get chill with this per. and even cry Now, the next song i wanna suggest you is "you're not from here". That ballad will blow up your mind for sure LOVE YOUR REACTION

Is it any wonder that Lara has had such a dramatic impact on Dimash Kudaibergen who has obviously taken on her 'in the moment style', never once braking the emotional magnetic journey. This is story telling through music that never once lets up leaving an audience completely and utterly spent right up until with that last perfect note is uttered This is Lara's trademark. Recognize beloveds, that the magnetics of the Emotional body, and the feeling 'sense-sations' it generates in it's listeners, IS the language of the soul. Emotions, when Divine Will is allowed to come through unimpeded by Lara, never breaking once during Lara's sublime story-telling fashion, magnetically ensnares, and pulls it's listeners, completely enthralled, along a magical journey that elicits such sublime moments, as to induce what I call climatic, emotional orgasms. The physical body in these perfect moments is simply incapable of hold such intensity's of Love that this vibrational energy simply results in an uncontrollable overflow of involuntary reactionary tears. Such incredible tenderness. This is 'Love', the cosmic glue that holds all Creation together. This 'Love' as generated in the Heart, is what makes people's hair stand on end when they recognize that they are in the presence of a divinely inspired Master. And this, to me, is the ultimate aim and purpose of all Great musical performances. These 'Gold Light Spirits', champions of Divine Will Herself, have always known that music can heal 'EVERYTHING'! Lara's music; her signing, does just that and more!

Great reaction to by far and away the greatest female vocalist of all time. Lara Fabian. She ranks up there with the legends like Mariah, Whitney, Celine, Streisand...but what puts her at the top of the vocal mountain is this: she belts them out with emotional impact in 12 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES!!! That’s right. All with the same emotional intensity!! No, that’s not a misprint. Here’s a KZbin vid that offers you a sampling of her belting in 7 languages !!!! She has another where she belts in 12!!!! Mariah, Celine maybe 2 huh? I’d love for you or your subscribers to watch or react privately or publicly to the following song that she wrote: Please KZbin : “Lara Fabian Broken Vow”( the one she performs live as the final song of my all time favorite concert by her.
