First time she sang this song was in 1991(its cover not her song). She never sang it the same way twice. Recently she said that after all this time she can call it "her" song because something happens to her everytime she sings it that she cant explain. "Caruso" is another great song that she covers. For us, it totally enhances our understanding of the anguish that Lara is actually feeling as she goes through those lyrics. Just an " fyi", you have the ( short ) version of this piece...there is another with about 2 1/2 minutes more!! In total , from the beginning of her last very long note(17.5seconds) to the actual close..when she actually has come out of her emotional trance from this song.. Is just at 2 1/2 minutes! The ending is really needed to complete the full monty..with this cover, by Serge and Alice.. The piece also comes with subtitles and is at A 45million view(plus) Level,so that you know that you have the correct copy!! It is from 1999 concert in Montreal!! 🎶🤙🐺🧙‍♂️🦊👍🎶

Lara Fabian is a lyric soprano as you might possibly noticed she is not just like any random singer , she is above and beyond what we encounter daily . Her experience and technique are far superior than any other diva we might love . Her voice has so wide range and so much agility to it , while her breath control is what makes her even more powerful . Pronuancing words so crystally clear is another talent of her's and of course she is "theatrical" and emotional all the way through . She is unstoppable , she is gorgeous and she is humbled , it doesn't get any better than this really !!!

The song I'm Sick is inspired by a real heartache of Serge Lama, the story of a long secret relationship. In 1969, the singer met Michèle Potier in Chamonix. Love is a certainty, but they are not free either: in 1968 Daisy Brun married her press secretary, she is married and the mother of a little boy. They love each other in secret for several years and promise to regain their freedoms, but Michèle hesitates and eventually flees and settles in Morocco for professional reasons. Perhaps one of the world's best voices and interpreters. I've followed her since seeing her in Brussels in 1996.
