I have literally seen every reaction to this song I could find and this one is now my favorite. This is the most knowledgeable vocal coaches I've seen, especially never hearing this kind of techniques before. WE as a band of the metal genre apperciate that vocals like this are being noticed. Theres alot of technique that goes into this style of vocal, as well as discipline and practice. Its also intresting that a coach can discribe excatly whats going on inside and still be fasintated on the sounds that can be produced. You said it - Will is astounding. This kind of music, to me, is like an incredibly hot curry. Many people will perceive it as too perceptually aversive to tolerate, and react by flinching away. Quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite reactors! I just love your genuine knowledge and enthusiasm for different sorts of vocal styles. I highly recommend checking out Will's one take playthrough of "Of the Abyss", or maybe "And I Return to Nothingness", since in that song he's trying out a newish style of scream in the chorus that's meant to be more indicative of the melodic screams and growls he has in mind for future projects (at least according to an interview I saw). He also described "Of the Abyss" as his favorite song of the EP and the one that best captures their style going forward at least into the next full LP (kind of a blend of the ridiculously heavy To the Hellfire and the more melodic And I Return to Nothingness) I'm absolutely loving your videos and I am absolutely subscribing for more! You do incredible work, more than most any reactors I've come across, in terms of actually breaking down the talent involved in the vocal art. (Just coming off your fantastic videos of Devin Townsend's Kingdom and Disturbed's Sound of Silence reactions which were also fucking masterful. I love the enthusiasm and sheer glee that shine through every moment of this video. Will is an astonishing vocalist. In case you're interested, Elizabeth Zharoff recorded an interview with him a couple of months ago. At least do yourself a favour and check out "Of The Abyss" and ". . . Where in hell have you been all my life!? When I first saw the thumbnail of the video I was a bit skeptic, but damn am I sorry! I've watched the reaction of Elizabeth on The Charismatic Voice so many times It's ridiculous, I'm talkin' 200+. There's something magical to watch someone with knowledge about voice coaching or the alike react to extreme metal vocals. I was partly skeptic in the beginning because of the short video, but you filled it up with so much information it's insane! Your way of explaining make is so much easier for me to understand. The last reason for me being skeptic is because I've been searching around for these type of reactions and not once have I seen your video or channel, and now suddenly when just looking for a video to watch while eating I find this! I totally love you and instantly subscribed, you can be sure the number of views of this video will go up insanely over time. I also adore the little growl you made there, so friggin' awesome and cute. 💜 Pretty pretty please, do a reaction to one of the songs of Mental Cruelty's latest album "Zwielicht". I'm having a hard time deciding witch one is my favorite, they are all very good and the vocals by Lukas Nicolai are in the same ball park as Will Ramos, but I will confess I do think Will Ramos is a bit better at vocals, but I think the music by Mental Cruelty is a tad better, much because it's a great combination of symphonic metal, deathcore and black metal = Symphonic Blackened Deathcore. Regarding pig squeals, I'm no big fan of it in metal but I find it somewhat entertaining when the vocalist in Within Destruction does it. I've come to the conclusion that what they say every time is "Weed". You'll hear it too! Wouldn't at all mind of you do a reaction to one of their songs as well. Preferably from the album "Yōkai" from 2020 or "Deathwish" from 2018. They have some pretty cool trap (if I'm not mistaking) influences as well. 🤘 Third time editing because I remember more to mention :P
