olivia said recently that she'd classify her music as pop that is adventurous and that's what i see here. like she takes elements from genres and styles she likes and incorporates it into that candid style of music she sang on sour. it's so cool to see because you get such interesting songs sonically. pitchfork and billboard both pointed out that a lot of the music on guts a different artist couldnt pull off but something about olivia, her theatrical style, and the kind of performer she is makes it work for her. get him back is such a standout song and i need her label to push it
