This was one of their infamous "couch videos" from their early days when they were recording songs on a couch in the apartment shared by Avi and Kevin with whatever recording device and microphones they had on hand. And they were "kids" then... this was only a little more than year after they won "The Sing-Off"!

This was one of the first videos I saw of theirs, and I just fell in love with all of them. They are having so much fun, and the tight staccato harmony in the middle is perfection. I absolutely agree with you about them sounding great despite the low budget production. I hope others go back and watch some of their early videos, like Somebody That I Used to Know and Gangnam Style.

I’ve been begging for Dog Days since the very beginning! IMO, it’s their best performance ever in terms of sheer heart and soul. They put everything they had into that final judged performance, and it showcased almost all their strengths in one perfectly chosen piece. Sooo good. I like the mash-up a lot, but I can’t get over Mitch’s one teeny mistake in the song. It’s so rare to hear any of them “off,” and because of that, I can’t enjoy it as much as I want to.

I was cruising KZbin recently and discovered a Russian talent show contestant that did just that, with one of the best, most unique voices I've heard in many years.
