When you said, "I'm going to be harsh." I thought to myself."I dare you to be." As far as I'm concerned, Tommy J's vocal range has to be one of the greatest.

Tommy is so multitalented. He is one on the guitarists in the band Sabaton. He is the ledsinger in the band Majestica. He helps Floor with her solomusic and is a pretty good painter. His vocal range is insane.

Welcome to the musical world that is Tommy Johansson. Tommy began learning guitar at age 9. He formed his own metal band ReinXeed at age 14, which still exist, but now by name of Majestica. He fronts the band vocally and plays guitar. He can play bass and keyboard and I think also drums and flute(haven't seen those last myself) but makes use of plug-in instruments if needed in his covers. Recently he declared he is starting to learn the accordion as well. Since 2016 he is lead guitarist for Sabaton and tours with both them and Majestica. He is also the man who makes many of the arrangements for Floor Jansen of Nightwish,in her solo works( Floor being married to Hannes Van Dahl, drummer of Sabaton). Majestica did a Christmas album 1-2 years ago where Tommy arranged traditional carols in metal style and put them to lyrics based on the original words of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol, singing the part of Scrooge. Yet every week he puts up a video on his own channel, covering songs of different genres and artist( Celine Dion, Elton John, Queen, Steelheart and many more) or guitar solos or else material. For fun he produces Disneytons, Sabaton lyrics to well-known Disney music. And this is the shortlist of his works! Comes through as a genuinly likable guy, with humbleness of his talent. He does all the works of his videos himself, except for filming, which is mostly done by his girlfriend.

Thanks for your answer. Loving Tommy as I do and hearing you have a growing list I still have a recommendation for a new artist to get aquainted with (And his group as well). Geoff Castellucci calls himself a baryton, but he has a vocal range from B0 to A5 and all others insists on calling him a bass. Geoff is since many years the bass of the acapella group VoicePlay. As they are Orlando-based,most members have a background in working for Disney. VP are known for their theayrical. Covering something they go all in, with cosplay and sometimes storylines. Their cover of We Don't Talk About Bruno had Disney invite them for private performance. If I Were A Rich Man and their medley of Wicked are outstanding but there are much, much more videos to enjoy. During Covid Geoff also started doing solo works on his own channel, where he clones himself and harmonizes with himself, sometimes bass covers, sometimes low-bass covers. All very beautiful. He also have some tutorials on his channel on singing really low and sub-harmonics and music arrangements. VP and Geoff, like Tommy, do all their works themselves. Arranging, filmning, editing etc. They encourage reactions, no problems with copy-right for that as they are independent. Many start with Sixteen Tons for Geoff, but as you are a vocal teacher I recommend Blackbird or Shenandoah for you. Or his last one, a low bass gorgeousness The Rains of Castemere, from Game of Thrones. Full theatrics by one man.

Oh of course there is to some degree. There isn’t a vocalist alive today who doesn’t have some sort of software involvement but it’s more the level of involvement. Autocorrect as an example, in order to have the track sound natural you need to be able to hit the note or at the very least come very close to it. The level of involvement with Tommy is, or at least seems, far less than your run of the mill recordings of this day and age 😊
