The higher background screams are done by Buster Odeholm of Humanitys Last Breath. He is the drummer now for Vildhjarta. I think he does all their production too.

It’s insane how such beauty is found in those unique parts. Specifically the part where you commented about the guitar sliding the notes and referring to sorrow

You said “Den Heliga Anden” correctly. Just a tad bit off on the pronunciation. It means “The Holy Spirit” if you didn’t know. Vildhjarta is one of my favorite bands from Sweden, nice to see them on the channel! 🇸🇪

KAOS 2 was a teaser released earlier this year that not many people saw, when this song released I think they wanted everyone to know that this included that teaser. It is the beautiful part that starts at about 8:06 in your video!

One thing I love about Vildhjarta is how well they use their bass with the guitar. When it plays it hits so much harder since it's absent from so much of the dissonant guitar work.

Guhberry I believe they use drop Gb a lot, and sometimes down to drop F. My guess would be one of those two. Low as fuck, that’s for sure.

Bit late to the party, but awesome reaction video! I could feel the disappointment when the beginning dragged a bit - then came the big surprise that the old dudes are back to their element :D. Understandable that this video doesn't have as much about the vocals because they are just part of the whole in the Vildhjarta soundscape. It's very visible how deeply their playing with dissonance and melancholy got to you though, and the vocals just take a part of this rather than taking the lead. Very fitting for what makes the band unique imho and it's awesome to see such a genuine reaction without dramatic gestures or whatever.
