I remember going to see Led Zeppelin at Knebworth in 1979. It had poured with rain overnight and everyone was a bit damp and miserable. 1st band of the day was Chas and Dave, hardly rock concert material, within 10 minutes everyone was dancing around and singing along. They were brilliant showmen - and if memory serves a little rude 🙂

Ah memories flooding back, went to see Zeppelin at Knebworth vesty in the late 70s, I was sat amongst the cramped mass of peple chilling in a field, with a hangover from hell, when Chas n Dave came on, was not sure what to think at the time but a great memory, early cockny rap I would call it🤔🤣
