Everything you did on side is lost when played through a mono system and a lot of night clubs. Instead, use the stereo effect on the panned background vocals in your mix to leave the lead alone. That will be mono-compatible. Enjoyed all other aspect of the demo though.

@@cornbobrimlove7892 When side "folds", it is gone forever. Mid signal is what the two speakers have in common. Side (what is not in common to both speakers) is the same in both speakers, except that one of them is phase-opposite. So, when side "folds" into mono, the two "sides" cancel each other out. To do what you are thinking of, you need a tool like DrMS, which allows you to move the positive side signal into the mid signal.

Don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself. Distort the shit out of side and check your mix in mono. :)

Just mono-checked this video, and it is just as I said. It's my job to understand how mid-side works as a mastering engineer. If you really want to have some fun, watch the entire side section of the video in mono (if your interface allows you to). You'll hear zero change throughout that entire segment of the demo. Cheers!

It's because Waves has upgraded their interfaces/GUI graphics methods, it requires Metal, which unfortunately isn't compatible with the older OSX versions.

I run FL Studio running through the rosetta version, will this be able to run on that?, I just want to know before buying

Hi Justin, as we did not test our plugins on FL Studio that's running via Rosetta Emulator, we do not have any knowledge base of issues that might occur due to this. We highly recommend trying a demo before purchasing. Our demos are all 7 days fully functional temporary license and only differ from the full version by the license's time limitation. This way you can tell if the plugin will work properly or not.
