Guys, I want to add to what people have already written, the following information: Dimash sang a duet with Chinese opera singer Li Yugang song in Chinese, in which he showed the note B0. And immediately after this song they performed the aliens from the movie "The Fifth Element" and Dimash showed the note D8. In fact, the range of Dimash's voice is from deep bass to the highest soprano. Dimash really has a higher musical education in classical vocals and modern singing, and plays six musical instruments. Indeed, he started singing at the age of five, and his parents are opera singers. He has a huge number of fans, whom he calls "Dear", he speaks English, Mandarin Chinese, Russian quite fluently. Dimash loves his family very much and they also love him. He is a very kind and honest person, often does things that people do not expect - just out of kindness. The most revealing: during the "Best in the World" contest, when he learned that he would have to compete with young singers in the final selection, he simply refused to participate - he said that he should give children the opportunity to take the first step in their careers.

Dimash was born with perfect pitch and with a passion for singing, even as an infant. His parents are both famous in their country (Kazakhstan) for their work in opera, where his mother is a celebrated, beautiful star. Dimash started formal training at age 5, and has trained for at least 3 hours every day since then. He's now 27. He's 6'3" tall, and the wonderful personality within, shines through that handsome, sweet-natured good looks. His big break-out song was this very performance you are watching here, "SOS." He sang it in a competition that was broadcast over national radio in China. He went back to his hotel room that night a singer, and woke up that next morning a star. When he went to get himself some coffee that morning, he found that two big, strong guys fell into step with him, and when he looked up in surprise, one of them explained that from now on, he would not go out without protection. He was an overnight sensation. Of course, he had been preparing for 20 years to achieve that "overnight" success.

At the age of 5 , it was discovered that he has perfect pitch. His parents are singers, his mom is a Soprano. When he was very young , kids made fun of him because he sang very high and they associated him with a girl. He worked very hard to improve his lower register and what those bullies did was only to make Dimash angry and he developed his lower register like no other ! If you want to listen to Dimash's most powerful song that is Ogni Pietra from his Arnau concert. The song is full operatic but not boring opera..it's something that only Dimash can come up with. React to that one, it's mind blowing

Welcome to Dimash. It never gets old watching people's first reaction to him. Believe me when I tell you you have only scratched the surface. I only recently discovered Dimash after ignoring him in my KZbin recommendations for over a year. I figured he was just the latest pop "sensation" and I generally do not listen to that genre of music. I am almost embarrassed to admit that I have since watched hours upon hours of reactions to his various performances. I mostly watch reactions from professional vocal coaches, many with backgrounds in Opera. I came across your channel a couple of hours ago and watched every one of your Dimash reactions, and you just provided another excellent reaction and analysis. I really enjoy your videos, and like you, I am absolutely amazed by his incredible talent, ability, vocal range and dynamics, his delivery, as well as his stage presence. He has diligently honed his craft and developed his God-given gift for more than 20 years now and it shows. From what I gathered, he started singing lessons at 5 when it was found he has perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition. He graduated with Honours, having achieved a perfect score of 100%. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. as he wants to teach music after his singing career. His range is about 7 octaves now but Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a much-loved national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn but again he is doing well with it. He also plays six instruments; the dombra, piano, drums, guitar, xylophone, and cello.

Fun fact: A Russian composer worth over $13 billion (Igor Krutoi) came out of retirement to compose and play with Dimash. You’ll know him when you see him - he looks like a character in a James Bond film. Dimash’s parents were professional Kazakh opera singers... you’ll never hear him mess up. This beautiful French song is only the tip of the iceberg to what Dimash can do with his 6-octave range & his phenomenal technical abilities. It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him. Some info about Dimash. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 6-7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe! He also sings in about 12 languages and speaks 3 so far. He is born in May 24 1994. Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and approved to start his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night. This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight. In 2017 Dimash received a wild-card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant of all time (22 years) and the first non-Chinese. Dimash is from Kazakhstan. His ethnicity is Eurasian. He began is classical/operatic vocal training at age 5 and has a 6+ octave range. This video is a bit older, and he will be 27 May 24th. He is tall at 6'3" and is also a model, multi instrumentalist. He has had well over 20 years of vocal and instrument training. This performance is barely touching the tip of his abilities. He is a huge Michael Jackson fan and you find him singing MJ music, to folk songs of his home land to rap to opera.... He is totally dedicated to his crafts and loves to entertain. OKAY, first off, you nice folks have just scratched the surface of Dimash. All songs he sings are totally different than any other song he has sung. If you send in that Michael Jackson had some diehard fans, Dimash fans, who call themselves Dears, are clearly above them all. As soon as I heard his voice, I was immediately impressed in 2017. No wonder his fans are obsessed, his voice is incredible and, at first glance, he also seemed like a very humble person. The 26-year-old Kazakhstan artist reached stardom for the first time after participating in some national competitions and spreading his fame abroad, taking second place in the Chinese program - I Am A Singer 2017-. In this show, he was the youngest participant to compete against established and professional Chinese artists. One of the songs I heard him sing was a popular "S.O.S d'un terrien en détresse". A French song by Daniel Balavoine. I was immediately impressed by his incredible technique and delivery. His vocal training is formally classic, but he can sing pop songs extremely well. Your choice of original songs and covers is never obvious and always leaves the listener in awe. What shocks me the most is the use of the vocal fry technique. Observing this, the highest note male record is an F # 8 and Dimash is only 3 semitones from him, I wonder if one day he would try to beat the record. Your last Instagram post just mentioned: It is necessary to understand that I have become who I am now, mainly thanks to Kazakhstan. Because I grew up in Kazakhstan, I ate Kazakh dishes, I studied with a Kazakh vocal educator, I was raised in a Kazakh family. And the main stimulus that moves me is my nation and my country! After all, I think we have now answered my previous question. What made this artist so close to his fans? And what does he have that others don't? An incredible voice is not enough today. Social media has brought artists closer to their audience, who want to make sure that whoever is following is someone to relate to. It's imcomprehensible and nothing will be the same again. Watch him working with young singers.... they are all over this and trying to figure it out. Ten years on nothing will be the same, but he'll not only be the first, but probably the best for a long time to come. Maybe always. Everything came together right for Dimash. Born into a performing family, he's literally been on stage his whole life and it shows in his top-notch performance skills. Mom sings opera, dad is a pop singer. Family friends were all artists, and that's the stew that he grew up in. Dimash's piano teacher realized he had perfect pitch at age 5, and voice lessons were immediately add. Being a performer is all he ever dreamed of: when his peers were drawing pictures of cars and houses, he was drawing musical instruments and himself on stage. He won his first competition at age 6 in piano. He has multiple college degrees in music; classical &contemporary voice, and composition.. He's currently working on his PhD in composition. He still works with a teacher and practices 3 hours every day. His drive, dedication and artistry combine with that amazing voice to really create something new. I'm 70, and I've never seen anything close. You've only caught a glimpse of his talents. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. After being a Dear for four years, my first thought is that he looks so young here. He was only 22. He's almost 27 now, and believe it or not his vocals have gotten even better. He continues to study to this day. The first time most of us heard him do this was on Singer, a Chinese singing competition for professional singers. I prefer that version because it was a more intimate venue, the performance was heartbreaking, people were crying in the audience, and because we watched ALL of China fall in love with this young man after only one song. Kazakh language courses filled up, every TV program in China wanted him as a guest, and every time he performed in Kazakhstan, the audience was half full of Chinese fans who flew over just to see him. It was like the early years of Beatlemania. In the 4+ years since, he has never once let us down. I can't wait for you to get to Ogni Pietra, but you can react to anything he does. They're all too astonishing for words. I subscribed immediately. It was great to hear a fun and knowledgeable reaction. His register changes really ARE kinda hard to believe, aren't they? Dimash lost his voice the day before he was about to perform "Daybreak" on the Chinese show "The Singer." However he still managed to get through the song, but apparently lost his voice again shortly after his performance. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute. MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (REF CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth”. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives. Death creates in us a feelings of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. Death is such a peaceful, joyful event in our life, if we die reconciled with God and at peace with others as well. Death is unknown to all of us, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times. No one one this planet can know for sure what his lowest or what is his highest note. Hes been hitting notes left and right all his life. Humans never heard of or even attempted. Now americans who react to Dimash. And see how amazing he is. Should wonder!!! Why hes not on every single talk show in america at least? While he was on a talent show here in the USA. Yet only few of those competitors were on Ellen's show and few others. But not Dimash. Most ppl including me. Boycotted the show he was on. Tje worlds best. Bcs of how he was treated on that show simply bcs he showed he was better as a person than the capitalist mentality of entitlement and greed. Plus he doesn't adhere to one genre in music. And for so many ppl especially here in the USA. Or used to listen only to english song and some Spanish. Not to mention racism and xenophobia. I mean its America we are talking about. Where politics shapes how ppl think and act through media and entertainment. Plus he sings in Russian and Chinese. And we know how the united states love those 2 countries. For that reason I think ppl should start watching the worlds best. The more views they get, the more youtube will have to promote. Sometimes boycotts can hurt ur case if its directed in the wrong direction but for good intentions.
