I agree - Dirty Loops is therapy for the ears (and for the mind as well! They always put a smile on my face).

Disgusting in THE BEST way! These guys have been blowing minds on the internet since 2010 and we're still here for it! The 2:15 mark...my body left Earth! The wind just picked me up and I was SOARIN' without an engine then landed briefly! They are such fun to watch! Their skill and the look of pure delight on their faces while they're playing. 3:58...my body left Earth again! 4:29...stankfaceometer overloaded the 1 - 10 scaled to 100. That ending...I was waiting for some Tinkerbell-like fairy to fly across the screen. You're right...a Jacob Collier and Dirty Loops ORIGINAL collaboration is a MUST!!! Jonah and Jacob have played together and there are a couple of videos of them doing Stevie's "Do I Do" but an original collab like they've done with Cory would be a chef's kiss! Great reaction, Charlie! We love your job too! 😁

So good to see you back at it again, Charlie! Have been missing your Dirty Loops reaction vids :) This is gold, absolutely. Every single thing in there blows my mind, every time. A million new things to discover each time I listen to it… Besides Jonah’s insane vocals, Aron’s tight playing, Henrik’s drop-dead gorgeous bass tone and playing, the writing of this piece….!It’s a whole story, a symphony! How they take over from each other’s playing, how they build and the relax again…and at the end dropping us into some kind of other universe ✨🪐✨ There are several short vids by Samsung and DL on the making of this, including a short spiel by Simon Petrén, their sound, mixing and mastering engineer…it’s super interesting. Also three short ones by each of them featuring some of their parts in isolation 🔥🔥🔥 And yeah, Jonah and Jacob Collier are close friends, and have collaborated on one song on Jonah’s solo album ‘Now or Never’. That song is called “Independent Girl” and is so insane, there are no words for it 💙😱😱😱💜 Another album totally worth checking out-. You’ve got the best job in the world, Charlie, no doubt ☺️ Thanks for this one 🙏 To see you disgusted makes my day 🤣

Saw this comment somewhere... Can a ringtone win a Grammy? Seriously, with good headphones to appreciate it, this brings me to tears... a freakin' RINGTONE! You can really hear the Pat Metheny influence in this and their cover of Forever Young, two of my favorite Dirty Loops tunes.

If it's any consolation, I missed it too. Glad to have had the opportunity to listen to this amazing track with you. Aside from the incredible musicianship of these guys they really appear to be super humble and full of joy when you hear them in interviews.

I first heard this from a Samsung phone. It's such a blast that they were commissioned to reimagine the brand tone for the 2016/17 release. Their smiles are everything; I swear they must enjoy creating as much as we enjoy listening to them. I cannot hear anything Dirty Loops without getting into a great mood.

Jacob and Dirty Loops have not collaborated yet (that I know of), but Jacob and Jonah have worked together on a few things. Jacob was featured on Jonah's solo album on the song "Independent Girl" kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXKapWOlfryXe5Ysi=VT96LP7JnruyR35g and they also performed a cover of Stevie Wonder's "Do I Do" at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2017 kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWPZgKiuapZgpZYsi=of7bU-Oq_6_JV1Fb. Still waiting for a full band collab with Jacob though!

I can't listen to Dirty Loops or Jacob Collier without starting to weep like a little child. Jacob could make a vacuum cleaner sound like the voice of God and the Loops turn a ringtone into an emotional journey. What a time to be alive, these are living legends.

Unfortunately you can’t “buy” Henrik’s fantastic tone. At least 87,4 percentage is based on skills and musicality, the rest is his equipment. 🥸😄

@@magnusson_dan probably true that :) In their latest release “Run Away”, it says in the credits: ‘HENRIK LINDER- acoustic bass (tone is all in the fingers)’ 😉 But in the many interviews with him (just in case people want to check out his tech set-up) he’s always happy to explain all of his gear 👍 He’s not just a killer bass player but also the friendliest dude ever🤘✌️🤘✌️🤘👍
