Way to go man. Ps you are a inspiration beyond belief . I have suffered with depression issues for years. Most likely due to heavy drug consumption. And also stemming from issues from my child hood. Listening to you be so open about you’re life and pdst has really opened my eyes to the fact that I’m not alone and my thoughts don’t have to be mine and mine alone. Anyway man keep being you man and as always looking forward to the next video 😊

Yahooooo🤑🤑🤑 Chris you are the man! Super proud of you. It's hard to get your boot around to your butt to give a good kick, but you were successful. Mom, my best friend, died in March of 2020. It's pretty easy to stay in the house week after week. Your channel is very special to me. Not only your love of the hunt for gold, but your love of your fur kid, Fern. We lost our boxer, Gertie, in June. She was 14. Boxers are special! Keep the videos coming. This 65 year old is living vicariously through you😂😂

Chris, saying this video was amazing is a complete understatement. Your takings for your work are out of this world and are the ultimate reward for all your energy to get out there, on your own for this hunt. I too know the comforting and enabling feeling of having a friend come along to various day-to-day life events. And also the inner success felt when you push yourself to do it on your own. 1000/10 Chris. Well done. Hands down, your best video yet! Can't wait to see the other boogas you've found here in an upcoming film.

Good on ya Chris. at 67 and having an autoimmune disorder thats been eating my joints apart for 40 years I cant get out anymore. I used to be 5 miles up the creek before the sun came over the hills. Keep up the struggle against the PTSD, been dealing with it as long as I can remember, meds help but they cant come close to the feeling of forcing yourself to go do something you desperately want to do but cant make yourself do for months on end. Being trapped in your own head is the hardest thing anyone has to deal with.

Walk until you are tired... I use that same idea for just about everything including rock hounding, hunting, prospecting and sometimes even fishing. Laughing out loud here. At the copper mines this is how I was acting while finding silver and copper ore specimens. Going out with no companion, not even a dog, that far out is a challenge for anyone I think. Quite an accomplishment. Wow!! Awesome pay for a day of work. Way better than working at a normal job and so healthy to get out in the beautiful country. The scenery behind you was awesome. Healing for the body and mind.

I too have found my joy in going prospecting here in NZ with my dog for company but not other humans and I'm happy out there! Hunger and darkness drive me home but little else. I hardly find anything though in the areas I'm allowed here. Do you know anything about getting permission from claim owners to prospect in their areas? (I know I'm in nZ and you in Oz but still :-) thx and well done.
