i often return to your first time reactions to Lara because i almost always pick up something you said that either i missed or didn't attach the relative importance of your reaction ..................... in this case it is the line you said " i want to sing like this when i grow up " --- maybe the greatest complement i have ever heard ! there is no jealousy, no grudgingly complimentary statement, just a simple and honest sentence that sums up your admiration. This, to me, is the ultimate summation of your love for this level of perfection, this level of talent, and this level of joy you exhibit concerning Lara. Your beauty, your inciteful comments, and your inner peace with who you are makes this single moment of admiration fully restorative of my positive thoughts about the capabilities for one to appreciate a performance as wonderful as this.

EXCELLENT PRESENTATION by "The Voice Love Co." I've been a fan of Lara Fabian for about 25 years now. I'm from the US but found her music while traveling in Canada back in the 1990's. I absolutely adore her voice and enunciation of lyrics. The orchestration of course is fabulous. I have never understood the popularity of Beyonce, Katy Perry, Mariah, etc. They just seem to scream or rely on electronic sounds and beats. Lara is a true artist in my books and her music holds up. As for her breathing power, it is AMAZING! I really loved your analysis. Thank you! Looking forward to the next! :)
@blackbeardsdaughter26134 жыл бұрын
@Acting Music Sports RIGHT ON! I agree with you 100%. I like Jeanette MacDonald as well from the 1930s but she couldn't sing the ballads of today. Whitney had her one hit wonder but she wasn't that great. She just screamed like the rest of the lot. Music is so important for the mind and soul. I don't like it when people use it (music) for platforms and propaganda. Good for Lara and Celine!!! :)

I wish Lara had made it in America too, she's so underrated compared to some other great singers, I have no idea why it didn't happen as she's a diva too (along with Celine, Mariah, Whitney, Tina Arena etc), I guess she didn't me the right person (you may have an incredible voice, be very pretty, you also need much luck too), such a shame, as she would have deserved to be as famous/successful as these female superstars worldwide. Lara is a reference when it comes to singing, her voice is a gift and even at 50 years of age now, she still has one of the most beautiful voices on the planet. Thank you Christi for your reaction, I can't sing but if I was to learn at some point, you'd be the one (I would have loved to have an english teacher like you too lol ;D). Au revoir!

Celine Dion's people purposefully sabotaged her career in the U.S. They didn't want the competition. Plus Sony music wanted her to be a dance singer, turn bleach blond and lose weight. That's not who Lara is. I think she's better than Celine and deserved to be a megastar in the U.S.

Thanks for your reactions. I love to listen you when you emphasize on her hi long notes, she is out of this world!!! Please, do not take me wrong but, I believe the main reason she's not so popular here is because USA bought Celine Dion, she is a different artists, she's not to worry about fame, her deal is artistry... not commercial music. That's why she didn't coupe with the American culture during her performances in US back on late 1990's early 2000's. Check her new videos and/or concerts!!! She is Amazing...⚘ Thanks again.

I don't know why people feel the need to compare Celine and Lara! They're COMPLETLY different artist. They have their own unique vocal characteristics. I feel that it's a disservice to them both to compare them!!! You don't have to chose either or they are both EXCEPTIONAL!!! Singers & performers. One thing that they both share is the innate ability to convey every emotion they feel no matter what language their singing in!

All my life my folks have always said that Barbara Streisand is their favorite. 2yrs ago, I sent this video to them. They both instantly agreed that finally, they found a new favorite. She's done an English album for America but we were accepting what the record labels were cramming down our throats. Her song, I Will Love Again, made it big here but everyone thought it was Celine. I tried to get people to realize there's more to music than pop or rock. She writes her own music. she composes and helps orchestrate it. She sings in 12 languages. There's a compilation video for proof and she speaks 7 languages, 4 fluently.
@vervideosgiros11562 жыл бұрын
She doesn't speak 7 languages; she speaks 4 languages fluently: French and Italian (as mother languages), English and Spanish. She speaks Portuguese and Dutch, but not fluently. She sang already in 12 languages: French, Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Greek, Turkish, Hebrew, Russian, Azerbeijani, Latin.

Added to her own 2 languages, she's fluent in 2 and pretty good in 2 more and that's great, but saying that a person is fluent in a language because they know 10 words, doesn't make sense!

Hello my dearest Christie : Congrats on receiving 35,000 subscribers! Wow, I can remember when you had less than 5000. Love to have watched you return to world class vocalist Lara Fabian. Her “ Lara With Love “ concert my favorite live concert by a female vocalist of all time. You still haven’t responded to her final song from that concert called “ Broken Vow” which she wrote and where she actually explains in the intro how the inspiration came to her. It’s a song about betrayal but also about forgiveness. Another artist who you reacted to what seems a long time ago ( Diana Ankudinova) but who has vastly improved in the last 2 years-especially her high notes which she is able to sustain and now she has amazing high and low vocal range and remains the most recognizable world class female vocalist on planet earth. She recently turned 17 and a great recent song to react to with Igor at the piano is “tomorrow is a lie” ( you will immediately notice the improvement) or Diva. Dance which she performed on the singer talent show when she was 14 but her latest version will show you how vastly improved in just over 2 years! I know you being my favorite vocal coach will appreciate how hard work pays off!! She has a vocal coach and trains every day. Sending my love and blessings to you and your hubby and eagerly await your next reaction! Al

I'm just hooked, plain and simple. Always a lover of good music of all kinds. As far as singular voice performances go, I ditto your reaction "What do you say?" It is a shame that she was "ignored" in the US when she was in her prime. Thankfully due to the freedom of the internet, she is getting the appreciation she deserves. I also must mention what you do in recognizing and analyzing her talent. You critique her performances in such a way that nails exactly what's going on with Lara. I love it. I have to mention a comment you made of what a beautiful woman she was and totally in her own skin, well "it takes one to know one" is my compliment to you. I admire your passion for singing and what you do to help others develop their talent and follow their dreams. Love your channel, you are my favorite and I will be following.

So happy to see you come back to Lara!! I love your breakdown of her talent and the way you repeat parts of the video. This isn't even good audio quality and she still sounds incredible. I also appreciate your mention of her melodies, it's one of the things about her music that I love so much. She writes the most complex, intriguing melodies without ever showing off. Every note has a purpose. I'm not a fan of the crazy runs just for the sake of acrobatics, in fact they annoy me. But Lara's melodies wrap around my heart and soul like a warm blanket. There are lots of other great song suggestions for what to do next, I echo the request for Tango. As a voice coach you have to see what she does from a seated position! Besides being a fantastic song and performance, from a technical standpoint it's mind blowing.
