I'm a new VO artist and this is helping me relax and not be scared to try.

Oh don't be scared! VO is creative! Embrace it and enjoy the process. We're all still learning, but simply at different chapters of the book of our careers. You may be starting out, but we were all at that point at some time or another. :) Try it out with the goal to see if it's right for you. Train with us or elsewhere, but get training. Little by little! This video may help you, @moegirl76: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJC4k4KqgsakrpI. Have fun!

Mike...as an avid Packer's fan, and GB owner, the book Who moved my cheese is offensive. I subscribed - you are welcome.

Mike- Interesting points, and I want to take some time to think about what you said here. I’m wondering about the difference between “messy” and lazy. Are casting directors dumbing down their standards to accommodate lazy? Perhaps you could post examples of both “air-y” and “messy” of one spot to demonstrate the contrast? Thanks, Mike! -Terry

@terrybanker - Good questions! I don't think CDs are dumbing down their standards for the lazy. It's more on the side of being real and authentic. We've had "perfected" reads for so long, that the era of "let's make sure they're connected and if they mess up, that's ok" might actually be the way at this point as the pendulum has swung. We'll see what we can do in the way of an example once we gather more data (meaning, talk to more CDs)! Thanks for watching, TB!
