There’s video of the girls just before they walked out on this stage in front of 55K fans and they were nervous. But they immediately shifted into performance mode and you just watched the result of them killing it! There’s no stage on the planet too big for for these amazing sisters!

Each one of the sisters has learned to own the stage. With every show they get stronger and more confident in their stage presence, which isn't always easy because their crowds are getting bigger ad bigger. This concert they were opening for the Foo Fighters in Mexico in front of over 58,000 fans (by far their biggest audience to date).

They are headlining a tour now through June, then touring with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless in July and August, and then some dates with Stone Temple Pilots. Get your tickets! These wonderful young ladies started on piano at about age 5, then added their other instruments a couple of years later. They grew up watching videos of classic rock concerts so their sound is rooted there, with added elements of grunge, punk, new wave, and even (so they say) k-pop.

The girls have said on numerous occasions, that they have been training with a vocal coach for years, so another perfect example that working hard on your craft with a proficient teacher truly pays dividends. 👍🏻

Their lyrics are what blow me away. I know that is mostly Pau's domain but the others contribute a bit as well. There are other young bands out there whose music is good but their lyrics are thin. And TW has been writing deep, meaningful stuff since they are teens.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, those opening vocals just rock. I love that under riff, it's subtle and ominous which is fitting for this song.

Danny's vocals are killing it now. They have gotten so much stronger and better. She will just keep getting better and better. Pau is just a beast on the drums. And Ale is coming out of her shell and starting to own herself where she can own the stage and just be free as she plays the base so damned good.

Ale really fills things out. She doesn't simply stay in the pocket with Pau, she actively fills out the sound when Dany plays lead. I was watching Daisy Pepper cover Z on bass (she's a young English bass player who's superb and whose style is very much like Ale's), and I noticed that during Dany's solo the bass was filling in a lot of detail with the solo.

Nice reaction! Yes, they are still young. Dany and Pau turned 22 and 20 earlier this year, and Ale turned 17 in December. They are workaholics, they have showmanship in spades, and they are well on their way to the top. They are the pros from Dover! 🤩

People often get their ages confused. The baby Ale on Bass just turned 18 recently. She's been performing on stage for 10 years as of 2022. TEN!! They are seasoned pros at this point.

I discovered them maybe 3 years ago. They've made some epic covers AND originals. They should all be in their 20s now. The youngest is the bass player so I'm not sure about her. I love them because they truly define female modern rock. They've worked hard to get where they are at and I'm here for it. I stopped listening to them for a hot minute but I have to hear their new stuff, because I'm living for this. So... I'd suggest their cover of Atlas Rise by Metallica. This was from a few years ago. I hadn't actually heard the song before but it's now one of my favs to rock out to... whether them OR Metallica lol

Ale is 17. For Metallica covers, I'd suggest their 2021 version of Enter Sandman. But it isn't exactly a cover.

Yes Dany,Pau,Ale have the skills,talent and as PAU always said they have put in the practice time.And yes fierce is a great description of these so enjoyable off the stage and so entertaining on and off the stage..They are about the business end when needed but appear so normal off the stage but everything they continue doing for all TWA Fans,not the norm, so great are the Villarreal sisters.Love you all Daniela,Paulina,Alejandra .Cant wait to see you all May 2nd and July 13th!!

Oh, they've been trained both vocally and on their instruments. They were lucky to be born into a family that (a) were amenable to helping them pursue an "impractical" dream and (b) could afford to buy the training and instruments. They are not an "out of the barrio" story, which is not to diminish their success because they have earned all that's come to them since then. The wild thing is, when you see videos of the sisters offstage and just being themselves, they are so NORMAL. Just a bunch of girls being girls.

Been meaning to ask... when Dany sings the "cold" part does she go into her mixed voice? I know that she sings mostly on her chest voice and I can't recall her singing up to her head voice. I think she goes to her mixed voice often recently.
