This is the best I’ve ever heard Jennifer sing, she’s been working on her vocal approach. Normally she’s all over the place and over singing. But here lately she’s really been on it!!!! I love it sing Jennifer

@@Rodneyjohnson42yess her voice has definitely gotten better and she’s learned more control over it as she’s matured. Her voice is just so big I’m sure it was difficult to fully control. And she come from a church background n they do have the tendency to “over sing” but it works for their music

@@newdimensionjt3452 No they have not!!! I’ve been following her since idol!!! She was lacking control!! And everything she use to sing would sound the same. It was boring!! But now she has it!!!! I Love Jennifer. She did a beautiful job honoring Whitney. It’s not a competition but an homage to one our most precious treasures. Whitney’s version of I will always love you is different from Dolly Parton’s version and she’s the only me who wrote and sang it first. She knew it would sound different but it was still beautiful. Same with Luther he took other’s songs and made them his own., not taking anything from the original artists. I think Whitney would approve. Jennifer BRAVO 👏🏽 👏🏽Her voice is truly a gift.🥰👸🏽💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐

I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of some of Jennifer's technique and execution at times, but she showed some restraint here and she did great. She definitely has the power to pull off those belts. The silence during the start of IWALY was moving. This was a moment and Jhud understood the assignment! I also hope that the original AMA Medley performance continues to gain traction in popularity. Okay, opening yes, agreed. Yes, the vowel change, excellent. I felt like Lena Horne stepped in for a second. Yes, the dome, she did that indeed. By the way, I love YOUR voice. Yes, the jazz layer. Watching you listen is like watching Stevie Wonder. Lounge for sure. Killing it it! Now, here we go! Can you imagine the breath control for this, OMG! Now the tears start. Yes, the should stay. The silence was crazy! The band looked like they were in prayer. Perfect pitch comin in! That's right, take your time. Has to breathe like a bottle of wine. Of course she added herself as we all say, make it your own. BOOM! Here she goes!!! She needed a minute. HAHAHAHAHA! YES!!! True that, she didn't take much breath at ALL. Right, don't over work. Same thing in Dance, we don't breathe that much or obvious. I love your feedback. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Blessings.

It’s beautiful to have Wayne Linsey and Ricky Minor, playing in this Tribute be it that, they both played for and with Whitney during her career, playing these exact songs in the height of Whitney’s Stardom! I enjoy JHud and I know she loves Whitney, and Whitney loved her, I just think her voice can be a bit overwhelming because there’s such a depth to it, and such a height that its, sometimes TOO Flashy and Gawdy at times. She’s got the GOSPEL for it, but she needs a little more TINGE of OPERA,mixed with Grit & RnB, to get that Whitney sound and blend! But to encapsulate and tribute Whitney, with what we have left, with Talent and Artistry, close to Whitney, it would have to be Debra Cox or J! JHud,made this her own, but could have studied, embodied, and incorporated more of Whitney’s tone, syncopation, mannerisms, used more of her vocal agility and other vocal options in IWALY, because J HAS it in her. All in All,This really was a Touching performance though, can’t deny that! The Arrangement is top tier!!!! Whitney would have definitely been proud!
