Actually, as a French person, I can tell he did not struggle at 10:05, he is singing « plus beau vu d’en haut » which means « it could be more beautiful from above », as the story is about a depressive person. What makes this song beautiful and the original composer did that on purpose, is singing lower and flipping to higher note, expressing that wish of going to the sky, after a suicide. Low notes = Earth - pain, high notes = heaven - inner peace. The fact that he stylistically did that belt stepping up each time to a higher notes shows that he understood the message and how this message has to be convey vocally. So this song is all about flipping from a low register to a high register! I needed to point that out, love ur videos, keep going!!

THIS. i dread/cringe (sometimes literally) every single time i hear someone attempt to place dimash into one particular vocal type. he does defy standard classifications, & most vocally well informed people eventually pick up on this (although i don't hold it against anyone when they are hearing him for the first time & try to make a call prior to hearing more of his range). if anything, i hope it serves as a humble reminder to not be too quick to judge, nor decide you know something too quickly...which a lot of people are throwing at these two individuals. how can anyone expect them to revisit dimash's insane talent if all they receive is spite & vitriol for trying? i'm frustrated all around, with people for making quick assumptions about dimash's capabilities, & also at the dears, who really ought to know better than to behave like this whole comment section is.

I showed this video to my vocal coach and we laughed hysterically. Dimash dears it’s important to understand if vocal coaches are not fluent in other languages or sing in the way the artist can, to properly train them. Their opinion is just an opinion, not matter of fact. This is why Dimash seeks vocal training from professionals who are primarily opera related. These two vocal coaches are not educated in that subject, as it’s very clear. Don’t take their opinion to heart, it’s an anglophone opinion on a multilingual artist.

You are so correct. Now day “vocal coach” if that’s what they call themselves, are so ignorant, music, music genres are really important now days, but it just seem like some “pop vocal coach” thinks they know everything and judging singers on the knowledge of pop or the genres they know to say what’s wrong what’s not… sad .. like for example you just can’t using pop style or r&b style to judge if a rock singer is wrong the way they sing 🤷‍♂️ you just can’t … so what you said there is great . What those 2 said in this video are just opinions, no more than that 😂

I learned watching this video that I will not subscribe to this channel, and I would certainly not wish them to train me. They would ruin my voice. I'm sorry, but this review sounded extremely egotistical, as if there could not possibly be a singer out there superior to them, so they found phantom faults when the faults were with the reactors. Their egos (to put it mildly) got in the way of actually experiencing the gift that is Dimash.

Dimash, singing here in 2017 in French, is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 when it was found he has perfect pitch. He is university educated with degrees in classical opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has just (18th June 2020) completed his Masters specialising in Composition, and receiving his Masters degree with Honours, having achieved the maximum score of 100% and has now started his PhD. His range is over 6 octaves (almost 7 now) but Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn but again he is doing well with it. In this performance he was 22 and in a competition for famous professional singers (not the Voice,) in China he was invited as a wildcard and after this one song was catapulted to worldwide stardom and became a pop superstar in China. He is also famous in Russia mainly for his neo classical work with Igor Krutoy and many of those works are very operatic, but he has now introduced pop songs there too. His vocals range from a rich bass baritone through to an extremely high soprano and his whistle register and has hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato. He was on a solo world tour and in his concerts he sings for around 3 hours with an eclectic mix of styles. He is from a very musical family both parents and his sister sing, mother is a soprano. Dimash was offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far, but I suspect world domination will soon come his way. He is a multi instrumentalist too and is very competent with 8 instruments but can play just about anything. He is 26 now, and is mostly known as a live performer, he has released a triple platinum album ( platinum in 37 seconds, triple platinum in under an hour) and a new album will be released soon. It has been recognised that his high notes are not whistle, but head voice, Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does its spectacular like everything else about him. He has billions of fans worldwide and I am definitely one of them, and he calls us his Dears, as we are all as dear to him as his family, and he means it, he knows who helped to make him famous. He is a softly spoken, polite, elegant and very humble respectful young man. He deserves every bit of the success he is having, he has worked very hard for the past 20 plus years and now his dreams as a young 5 year old are coming true. There is an interview he did for BBC World Service in 2018 where the interviewer showed a drawing he did when he was 5 of him singing on a big stage with microphones, speakers and his beloved music cassettes showing his desire to be where he is now. His recent sellout world tour has been postponed due to the covid-19 epidemic but will restart when its safe to do so. He has concerts lined up in Dusseldorf, Prague and Minsk there will be others around the world including South America. Thank you for your reaction, please do more, he has more than enough videos on KZbin. Bravo Dimash 💖

@@ChaseandMelia Can't remember specifically; I just smiled to myself as you commented throughout, thinking, they just don't know yet. As I implied, my comment wasn't meant to be critical; you are new to Dimash, and most of his fans, myself included, have watched him for years and know every little detail about him. For this particular song, he was taking part in a competition of professional singers. He appeared as the first singer of the first episode, new to China with an audience of 100's of millions of people. He was so nervous and knew this was his chance to wow the masses. He had sung SOS many times before, and he knew not to pronounce the 's' in vis, but he did on this show. He is more than a master of his voice - breathing, tones, dynamics, etc.; more a conductor as if it were an instrument to be played. You will see that he often uses his hands and fingers to sing the most intricate notes. I hope you grow to appreciate not just his vocal talents but his humility and love of his country and the people of the world. All the best to you.

@@ChaseandMelia I am not going to go watch your whole video again and cite the specific areas you criticized. And I don't care if Chase liked his heavy vibrato or not, personal preferences are exactly that. Fine with me. I've watched 100's of reactions from vocal coaches and singers and I got a negative vibe from both of you particularly in the first half of your reaction. I realized you were new to Dimash and said I wasn't being critical because of that. And eating your words means that you may change your mind as you watch more Dimash; has nothing to do with regret. Thank you. I have been a Canadian (Dimash) Fan for almost 4 years. I personally believe, Dimash is a Music Virtuoso of our time. He is from Kazakhstan and Dimash will be 27 in May 2021. Dimash has been formally training and performing for over 21 years. At the age of 5 years old it was determined he had perfect pitch. Dimash is known for his exceptionally wide vocal range and unique breath control. Many Vocal Coaches and Singers have differing opinions whether Dimash is a Baritone, Tenor or Contralto. It is recorded that he has a range higher than Six (6) Octaves and continues to improve his ranges and techniques. Dimash is a phenomenal Vocal Storyteller. Dimash calls his style an "Innovation" [Neo-Classicism] in the Classical Crossover Genre. Dimash combines many Styles such as Classical (Opera), Contemporary (Modern, Pop, R&B, Jazz, Rap), Estrada and traditional Kazakh folk music. Dimash is multi-talented, Singer [12 languages], Multi-instrumentalist [7 instruments], Composer and Performer. He also recently co-directed one of his own Music Videos. Dimash [he is 1.91 cm / 6ft 3in tall] has also done Modelling for well known Fashion Labels, Lifestyle and Fashion magazines. Dimash graduated in 2014 from Music Institute in Classical Music with Major in Vocal Opera (Bel Canto). Dimash continued his education with University studies in Contemporary Music and graduated in 2018 with a Major in Vocal Contemporary Pop & Jazz. In the Summer of 2020, Dimash graduated with a Master of Music Composition. Dimash has been invited for 2020/2021 to continue his doctorate studies in Music at the same University. Dimash speaks Kazakh, Russian and has a working knowledge of English. It is a phenomenal experience to be in the audience for a live Dimash performance or Concert. I attended his Solo «Arnau-Envoy» Concert at Barclays NYC, USA in December 2019, it was an awesome experience. Although you both reference Dimash having classical training, you seem to misunderstand that the darker tone and different placement *is* classical tone and placement. Dimash is creating more space and placing his voice further back for the classical tone and then bringing it forward into the mask for the more contemporary tones at other parts of the song. In classical, you use a tall, oval mouth. In contemporary, you use a wider mouth. On the first "from above" line, he demonstrates a classical style. The second time, he switches to a contemporary. These are choices he's making. This is his first appearance in this singing competition and he's showing different techniques. No offense, but the idea that Dimash not placing his voice in the front with a wider mouth is a mistake of some sort shows that you may know contemporary but you don't know much about classical or opera. Dimash's chosen style is actually a mix of the two where he moves between them, sometimes on the same vowel. He's playing with colors. I've seen professional, working opera singers watch this performance and rave about the perfection of his classical technique, placement, and breath control. Most folks - pro singers, producers, musicians, vocal coaches, etc - understand that Dimash is mixing and moving between styles, not "swallowing" his vowels or choosing the wrong vowels. I'd love to see you continue down the Dimash rabbit hole because I think, as you get used to the mix of styles Dimash uses, you'll realize that your take on this performance was limited by your presumptions of what the style "should" sound like. Your musical education may have taught you enough to become vocal coaches but, right now, your experience level still has you stuck inside a box. This is not about being a fanboy and defending Dimash. There are a few videos out there where Dimash struggled due to sound equipment issues or illness (though they're few and far between). You are absolutely free to say "I personally don't like classical singing" but to say that what Dimash did here is wrong? That says more about your lack of knowledge on the subject than it says about Dimash. You are objectively wrong.
@MaryA-qj8tx
@MaryA-qj8tx 3 жыл бұрын
I was wondering how they concluded that Dimash did the "wrong" thing without knowing the song and the interpretation. One thing Dimash fans know is that he doesn't necessarily conform because he wants to experiment with his voice. So you can't always predict what style he would choose.

Oh, you’re going to hear a lot of correction on this reaction. I’ve been listening to Dimash for four years and many reactions along the way. He is considered one of the best singers of our time. Anything he does, he does on purpose. He mixes many styles and colors in any one song. He performs his songs. He doesn’t just sing them. I hope you listen to more Dimash and learn what he’s all about. FYI, he’s a good guy. Polite, very close to his family, very respectful, does charity work. Also he’s been in training since he was five. He has his Masters and is working on his doctorate. Sings in twelve languages and plays several instruments. @@ChaseandMelia Well, first when you mentioned whistle tones, that wasn't his whistle register. When you hear it from him, you'll understand. He has a powerful whistle register unlike most people who can squeak out a few. He has mentioned in interviews he trained as a tenor from a very young age (like 4 or 5) and gained access to his lower register as time has gone on and kept it through puberty. It's understandable though because most people just listen to one thing and put people in a box. The reason for most of the downvotes I believe is because of the "he struggled switching registers" comment. See, most Dimash Fans (Dears) know that this song was the first performance of The Singer show in China in 2017. He was the very first performer on that season against other professional artists. He was the only foreigner, and the youngest contestant on the show thus far. The flight from Kazakhstan to China, well let's just say you get some jet lag. Dimash actually got really really sick like 6 weeks later so who knows how he was even feeling then. With all that into account, as a superfan, even I can tell you he wasn't at 100% capacity so I actually believe you are right... but to me... I wouldn't use the word struggle. When you see more of what Dimash can truly do, you'll understand he's a virtuoso. I think another reason why you got a lot of downvotes, is just the genuine lack of appreciation. You really analyzed the crap out of him (which I don't mind honestly). Dears are very protective of him but I wouldn't say the fan-base as a whole is crazy. Just look at your like/dislike ratio :D.

This is Chase and as a tenor myself I’ve had a lot of experience with this question. Strictly speaking falsetto is when the very edge of the vocal fold is buzzing rather than the entire fold. Head voice is more about where the sound is resonating IMO. For years however, people have used these terms interchangeably, but in the end I don’t think that it is a very important distinction because it shouldn’t change how you approach the note. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's so interesting seeing you guys get confused by Dimash doing "different things" such as placements and vowels and concluding that he's doing things inefficiently or even wrongly when another alternative might be that he's doing different things because he wants to do the same parts of the song differently because that's his intent. It does feel though that you should've been able to tell by the sheer level of talent he has shown at this point in the song. You just can't get this far into a performance off of talent alone. He's clearly well-trained, so the more obvious conclusion, methinks, should've been that he's not trying to do what a "typical" singer would do.

yes, tip of the iceberg with Dimash. This was in 2017, when he was 22. He's 26 now and he's continued to improve. The song is theatrical, indeed, and intended to be extra dramatic. It comes from a 1980s Quebecois rock opera "Starmania" and tells of one young man's struggle with life. When you spoke of how it takes more air to sing quietly than loudly, you should listen to him sing 'Love Is Like a Dream". The intro is a master class.

Welcome to Dimash's world ! I have followed him and his singing 3 years now and I would say, I cannot even classify him. Whatever registers he sings, you feel like his "home" voice belongs to that register, whether baritone, tenor, countertenor, or even female soprano. Some coaches said he is tenor and countertenor, but again, most tenor and countertenor do NOT have that groundness, rich, bite in low chest voices like that, but if he is baritone, it's hard to believe he sings so relax and like a real female soprano. just hard to put him in any vocal register! Trust me, if you listen to his singing more with more performances, you will feel the same. He can go down to bass A1 E1 D1, and you feel he is so comfortable there, even on Staccati F6 with cleaned precised staccati, he sounds so comfortable, even in belting mixed voice, he is so relaxed for 20 seconds belting. This guy is the master of singings, any genres ( folk songs in many countries, pop ballad, rock, jazz, opera, classical, he mixed them beautifully in ONE song, slays all registers, 12 languages singing, vocal technique are the beast, jump and drop 2-3 octaves in a blink of eyes with seamless transition!

I think why these two are getting so much pushback is how they come off when they talk. Obviously, there are things that Dimash can do to get better, but it is how these two bring it up. It is almost like they know everything and can pull off what he does. Yes it is okay to pin point critique, but you have to balance that with positives, because this performance is filled with magnificence. This performance was remarkable and yet they treat it as just good or okay. I just would have liked to see more humility from these two.

Well, actually, he did fucked up once :) Funny thing: it's very possible, that famous D8 note may didn't happen if he suddenly didn't lose cord closure on a previous note :) Remember? He did this crazy high note note and suddenly gone silent. And then, he probably thought "oh shit, I f'ed up, I need to make them forget about it" and did this crazy D8 note :) I don't mean to take any credit from him - he's probably the best vocalist that walked the Earth, but he is still human :)

👏👍🌷💕 Thank you! Dimash was classically trained as a tenor at the Aktobe Music College, then earned a bachelor’s in jazz and contemporary music at the National University of Art in Astana, then a Master’s in composition. Presently working on his doctorate. He sings in every range, every style and every genre, and likes to mix them up. SOS d’un Terrien en Détresse is a ding from the 1978 French Canadian rock opera Starmania, written by Michel Berger and Luc Plamondon specifically for the voice of Daniel Balavoine. Dimash pushed its limits even further. Would love to see you react to more Dimash: Sinful Passion; Across Endless Dimensions; Love is Like a Dream.

You won't be listening to his music on the radio or seeing him often on Western television, but this artist's fan base is larger and more loyal than some of the most famous and international pop stars. People will fight you online if you pronounce the wrong name, your fans will spend hours watching your videos, opening fan clubs around the world and leaving long comments on KZbin with the story of each song. They are obstinate and well prepared. My question was necessary at this point. What made these people so close to him, and what does he have that other artists don't? He doesn't need paid advertising because his fans will do it for free. They genuinely love this artist so much that they want to make him known at all costs. Some claim he provides them to overcome depression, others say he has changed their lives with his music, some fans even believe he is an angel or a superhuman. If you send in that Michael Jackson had some diehard fans, Dimash fans, who call themselves Dears, are clearly above them all. As soon as I heard his voice, I was immediately impressed in 2017. No wonder his fans are obsessed, his voice is incredible and, at first glance, he also seemed like a very humble person. The 26-year-old Kazakhstan artist reached stardom for the first time after participating in some national competitions and spreading his fame abroad, taking second place in the Chinese program - I Am A Singer 2017-. In this show, he was the youngest participant to compete against established and professional Chinese artists. One of the songs I heard him sing was a popular "S.O.S d'un terrien en détresse". A French song by Daniel Balavoine. I was immediately impressed by his incredible technique and delivery. His vocal training is formally classic, but he can sing pop songs extremely well. Your choice of original songs and covers is never obvious and always leaves the listener in awe. What shocks me the most is the use of the vocal fry technique. He manages to hit super low notes and jump to highs so perfectly, without ever failing. Above all, the most impressive feature of his voice is the use of the "whistle". I never heard a man use this technique before Dimash. Sorry Mariah, but her whistles are incredible. You just need to listen to his songs for yourself, because it is impossible to explain this talent with words. His vocal range is incredible. Its length is 6 octaves and 5 semitones, ranging from a low A1 to an incredible D8. Observing this, the highest note male record is an F # 8 and Dimash is only 3 semitones from him, I wonder if one day he would try to beat the record. Another thing that caught my attention, was the perfect pitch always impeccable . He is probably the only singer who has never been challenged on any score, which is why many people have given the nickname "Alien". But impeccable technique and interpretation are not Dimash's only qualities. We learned about his humanity at the -Best show in the world-, a reality show competition, where he competed in 2019. After a few episodes, when Dimash learned that he needed to compete with the kids, he decided to give up. He explained to the crowd that he was unaware of any competition with children when he signed the contract, and such an action would have been against his morale. Incredibly, that explanation was not included in the broadcast episode, which left us perplexed after listening to RuPaul, or I must call it the "Paul Rude" explosion. Dimash's resignation was, in my opinion, an altruistic and humble act. It takes a great man to give up his dreams to maintain his integrity, and that is what we saw in this incredible artist. The American show increased the popularity of the Kazakh singer abroad, so much so that one of his songs, in Kazakh language, debuted on MTV USA in October 2020. The love for his country and his honesty are always visible in all his performances. Each of his concerts always includes cultural aspects related to his country, such as the use of private instruments for accompaniment or traditional clothing and singing styles. I think the choice to sing in your native language was anything but casual. I believe that one of his goals is to increase the popularity and recognition of his country. After gathering my thoughts, I realized that I was right about my assumptions. Your last Instagram post just mentioned: It is necessary to understand that I have become who I am now, mainly thanks to Kazakhstan. Because I grew up in Kazakhstan, I ate Kazakh dishes, I studied with a Kazakh vocal educator, I was raised in a Kazakh family. And the main stimulus that moves me is my nation and my country! After all, I think we have now answered my previous question. What made this artist so close to his fans? And what does he have that others don't? An incredible voice is not enough today. Social media has brought artists closer to their audience, who want to make sure that whoever is following is someone to relate to. Artists like Dimash tend to gain millions of followers around the world, not only for their talent, which is definitely the main reason, but also for their humility and the way they interact with others. When people feel closer to an artist, they tend to want to know more about him. Dimash is talented enough, mysterious enough and, at the same time, so realistic that he could easily be your next-door neighbor. In a world where talent and simplicity often go hand in hand, Dimash is a real pleasure for everyone. For these reasons, I became a fan of the artist, not only admiring his art and technique, but also applauding a way he is dealing with his success. Greetings from Portugal

@@martinkrajscak4381 Uh, you want to try that again? I worked in law enforcement for over 12 years, 7 of which I spent in the courts. I've had plenty of arrogant people in my court, many of whom were also ignorant of what the law they were accused of breaking, really says, and they thought they would skate on it because some idiot "sovereign citizen" in another state told them how they could beat it. Being arrogant and ignorant at the same time is just scary dangerous. Notice, not a single mention of a singer was made as of yet in this comment. You are trying to apply a false narrative, since his like or dislike of the subject matter has no reflection on what the OPs said in their review of the performance. He didn't write their material (that we know of). No apples, no oranges. Only one big stinking onion, and that was this video. And no, I am no fanboy of Dimash's. This is the sole performance of his that ever resonated with me. Not even other performances of the same song have reached that level. These "vocal coaches" should not be teaching anyone how to sing, if they can't listen to a song, and if in doubt do a little research to see if it was just them hearing it wrong. There have been millions of views of this performance across YT on different channels, and I've never heard the ignorance these two spewed on any other reaction from singing coaches. Most of them have been blown away by Dimash, even those hearing him for the first time. It's hard to give a reaction video, especially to an established artist, when you're not familiar with the scope of his work and the depth of the fan base. I don't fault the reviewers for not being aware of things that fans are. I also understand that a review is subjective. That said, the feeling I got from this review was that it showed me more about the reviewers than it did Dimash or what other singers could learn from him. It seemed like the "review" was a "critique" designed to show why the singer needed to be enlightened by your knowledge. Knowledge is a great thing. You two obviously know more about the technicalities of singing than I do or ever will. I would have taken more away from this if you'd have refrained from your personal tastes, which really, that's about you, and instead focused on what could be learned from watching this performance. You watched a young man go through a range practically unheard of and incorporate several different styles of voice. Instead of focusing on the big picture, it was about your preferences and suggestions and yes, you were apologetic and qualifying in places but the message was received loud and clear that you weren't there so much to appreciate this performance as to make it about you. 30 years of vocal experience is a great thing. How many years of human interaction and knowing where to insert your opinion and when to be quiet and when to just applaud and appreciate the amazing performance that it is. Sometime we shine the brightest in the reflection of the praise we give others, when it's deserved. I won't subscribe, but I may check back another time.

You argued that the review was a critique and then argued that they shouldn't give their opinions because you felt that the video was a critique rather than a review when it was a reaction and the entire point of reactions are giving your opinion. So your entire argument ends up being that you thought this video was going to be something and it wasn't. It's a reaction video, the point of which being that you give your reactions and initial opinions. That doesn't mean they have to like him or praise him. If you want to argue they should keep their opinions out of the video it wouldn't be a reaction. Largely, they just explained what they heard and why they did or didn't like it. You can not take personal taste out of music. Literally all of the choices made in music are based off of personal taste. Once you learn the techniques you have to choose how to use them and that's dictated completely by personal taste and opinion. This is exactly why art is so divisive. We aren't born knowing that to express fragility we need to be quiet and floaty sounding or anger as loud and staccato. If you wanted this to be a completely unbiased critique of him and also praise him then you should have looked for a review video and not a reaction. That's not on them, that's on you.

Your comments were mind boggling, he is an amazing singer. Aren't you all asked when singing the song of another artist to use your talents to make the song your own, that's what he did... Intentionally... He is a rare talent... Dont know what's preventing you both from seeing and being able to appreciate the value in that. Having a background in music while doing a reaction video does not mean you only have to criticize other singers, but see the good as well. Give a mix of good and constructive feedback if you so desire, giving nothing but bad feedback to a globally recognized and absolutely fantastic singer gives the perception to others that you both might be a bit jealous you couldn't perform at that level. Not saying that's the case, just sharing how it's being perceived.

The host of this great show competition among famous Chinese singers and the audience of about 500 professional musicians that serve as judges ( btw it is not easy to be chosen as a judge) ... ok back to the point... the host tried to insist on the kind of simpler arrangement, but Dimash did not agree, and they accepted his arrangement! Also he and his close friend Erlan Bekchurin who is a great arranger always create and he sings only own covers and Dimash himself composes the parts that he needs for his interpretation of any... thank you so much for your comments. If you will continue Dimash will surprise you in every song...

The host? That was not the host, that guy was the boss of ‘black gold’, Dimash’s Chinese agency. The company got someone to rearrange the song SOS and asked Dimash for his opinion. Dimash was not very receptive in the beginning as he felt that it was too different from the original. So ‘black gold’ management told him that in order to win and stay on in this competition, he needed to make the 500 members of audience (who are the judges) excited and leapt to their feet to get their votes. So to me it seems like Dimash wanted the arrangement to be closer to the original whereas his agency wanted a more exciting rearrangement to make an impression to wow the audience.

So, Dimash is a guy that has been trained since age 5 years old and if I am not mistaken, correct me Dears if I am wrong, has Doctorates (in plural) in several musical generes: Classical, contemporary, etc. He got those titles very early in life and has been considered a prodigy not only due to his craft, but also due to his knowledge of music. I really recommend you Chase and Melia, to listen again to this video.

I think you may want to see the full spectrum of his abilities. This is no way negative but you two are new and a little bit clueless. Dimash is being esteemed From Celebrity vocal coaches, Opera Singers, and world renown producers as the great vocalist in the world. So I’ll give you that. This song may not of been your cup of tea but.... wait. If your in to full opera with pop elements, check out Olympico from Arnu concert. Or the mastery of whisper register, yes there is a thing and he’s mastered it, check out Love is like a dream with the red velvet suit (fan favorite) For English, check out Your Love and Across Endless Dimensions. Enjoy the journey. New subscriber for sure. Peace out. ✌🏻

@@ChaseandMelia Thank you for checking out Dimash and I'm glad you will be reacting to more of his performances despite some impolite comments. His fans ("Dears") (I am one) are very protective of him and have a hard time hearing anything negative about him. But, he is an extraordinary and unique vocalist who is well worth a listen. He has multi millions of fans in about 124 countries and is a superstar in some countries but still not very well known in the West. He is probably the most analyzed singer in the world by vocal coaches and other singers because he can do things that no other singer can. He is also a true student and lover of music and was immersed in music since the day he was born. His parents are both well-known singers in Kazakhstan and he started his musical education at about the age of 5 when it was discovered that he had absolute pitch. He won a national piano competition at the age of 6. As others probably mentioned, he has degrees in both classical and contemporary music, a masters in composition, and is currently getting his Ph.D. in musicology (literally the study of music). He does plan things out extensively so it is rare that you will see him make a mistake. His compositions and his performances are creative and innovative with an ear toward musicality and euphony. He likes to incorporate different genres and vocal styles into his songs, and often melds East and West. He is a master of dynamics. He trains his voice for hours every day. You won't see such dedication to improvement very often. He has close to 7 octaves. He has sung in 12 different languages because he wants to pay his respects to the original compositions. He plays at least 7 instruments. And, despite his prodigious talents, he is a remarkable human being. He is kind, generous, humble, and patriotic. He gives a lot of his time and money to various charitable causes to little or no fanfare. That's the reason we love him so much. Sorry for the length of this post, but I wanted to give you a sense of who he is and why his fan base is so large and diverse.

@@charleslangley1641 everyone has a different taste but you cannot make a right thing wrong. His technique was on point. I learned music as well and it looks like they don't know Dimash's style of music even a single bit because it was that opera + contemporary mix style. He intentionally uses it to make his voice more emotional and they thought he was struggling Woww how wrong you can be??
