Armband, only if you feel that it helps. You need to analyze what where the exercises or training methods that made this to happen and change it accordingly.

I have a training question. I am a beginner and have only been training with weights for 3 months and have had 2 practices with a team on the last two sundays. I am 40 years old and my question is how long do you think it will take me to be able to make gains in the gym again while still practicing once a week which I know is most important for me. I have only been able to do high rep rehab workouts since I started practicing arm wrestling with the exception of some wrist curls. I don’t want to over train and risk injury. Any advice is appreciated. Also once I am able to strength train again how often should I lift heavy weight while still practicing every week?

Do armwrestlers need to workout theyre whole body? Im starting on armwrestling workout and have limited weights with me (a towel and a couple of plates) so i cant train much of my body And also do i need to spar often? I only get to spar in school sometimes because i have no access to an actual armwrestling table Hope you can answer..thx!
@eane12755 жыл бұрын
Sparring is super important, look for a team if you can, best workout for beginners is just to armwrestle. As far as whole body goes, kind of, I'd say pullups, some rows, push-ups and things like that are good enough full body workouts for anyone.

How do you come back from a losing position but still have a hook applied?
@corbustnyo81805 жыл бұрын
I have a question about rotation when in the hook position. I struggle with back pressure and rotation both once the hook is set. So when my hook is set I am unable to roatate my opponents hand palm up and struggle with also giving back pressure once it's set. Any tips on workouts specific to those movements?

Go to straps if you feel more comfortable there. Always try to make your technique stronger. Don`t change you technique just work on position where you are losing.
