Great reaction- thanks! This one is different as Eli(bald, high rock tenor) did the arrangement, lighting and technical effects (usually Geoff or Layne does do the arrangements but this one is all Eli). Love the emotion in everybody's solos. Thanks so much for showing all the members love and appreciation for all their talent. Anthony and Eli's families have been long time friends (Anthony started out on an episode of talented kids on the Ellen Show years ago and has been on Tic Tock and Instagram a lot and is the featured guest in a few of Voice Play's recent covers and minis).

My understanding is that they met Anthony some years back at Acapella Camp (he's in Just Sing - which you probably want to listen/react to) and invited him then to sing with them. Now, finally, things fell into place. A lot of people know him from his Tic Tok channel. The first one I recall him doing with VP was Golden Hour last spring.

This is only the second song Eli has actually arranged (he has helped with others). The other was just after Earl left and one of the few were they have only four singers, Eleanor Rigby. Eli has also announced another exciting development, he and his wife will be welcoming their son (first child) in November. 🎉🎉🎉 Thus has been a very exciting month. Voiceplay also just released a mini wit Anthony, the sea shanty Wellerman, 😅😂😂🤣 Don't feel to bad about getting Anthony's last name wrong, most do, even Geoff has a hard time with it.

You will enjoy this. They also did a short (2 min) at the mall. The Wellerman shanty and if you haven't done Peaches (SuperMario) again a short and outside the Game Stop. Geoff reaches up to Bb5 in this one. Anthony Gargiula pronounciation of his last name - Gar - jew - la, the Italian iu is a dipthong and technically is a short i run into the u (oo).

Not for me, this one. I adore the original and this one is just a bit too 'boy-band xmas hit' feeling for my liking 🤷 But!...that in no way takes anything away from their vocals, which are absolutely excellent.
