100% agree, it's quite the reach by the writers suggesting he'd double down after a loss, doing the same thing, making more rings, for men which he trusts least, and no logic explained to us why in doing so, it will fix the problem with the one dwarf ring we've seen in action. Maybe get a second dwarf ringbearer's opinion? Seems like a lot riding on the experience of one right bearer out of a total of seven.

It's like they heard about early wooden construction techniques before the invention of nails (where various peoples did use ropes/cordage to bind the joints), but didn't realize that they had structural limitations (ie no evidence of giant wooden towers relying on it)

Gamling is Theoden King's attendant, and at the battle of Pelennor Field, Gamling leads a company down the center behind the king's banner. Hama is the guard who let's Gandalf in to see a possessed Theoden King, and allowed him to keep his staff. A real bro, that one. He held back Gamling from getting involved the brawl that occurred as Gandalf broke Saruman's spell on the king.
