The moment I saw that a new beta was released my first thought was "Mr. Candleman has to do a new VOTV season" and here we are. I explored the map a bit in the Sandbox mode and the first time I saw the changes I was like "Did I boot up the wrong game?" because it looks completely different from what I was used to. The generator houses and the windmills are my favourite change. The generator houses look so nice now and I think that the windmills are a nice addition to the landscape. And when you have time, go visit the Hole. There's something new there. Oh, and don't forget to check the new Sandbox map. It's literally 'Teaser'. MrDrNose is cooking something and I can't wait to see. I'm so excited.

Be careful around Tango. There's a deep pond where if your ATV sinks, you can't get it back. I learned that the hard way.

@@poodible strangely enough, the water doesn't allow to fully submerge yourself to the bottom, it also doesn't allow you to surface by holding jump, not unless you build enough momentum or climbing the sides. You're basically stuck in the middle of it

I've been enjoying the new update a lot so far! Played up to about day 12, explored a lot of the new map, got the whole base nice and tidy, got jumped by what I'm pretty sure is one of the 12(!) new threats, had a hell of a time trying to get the extra bunkbed frames out of my room until I realized it was easier to just throw them off the balcony... Probably gonna hold off on playing any more until Noseman patches the bug that makes every single signal the same mars signal tho

@@TVT.v1entetain Speaking of gas on the workshop there is a chemical warfare mod you can find it by typing into the workshop search "Chemical warfare" and you should find it easily. Theirs several gases to choose from but I say that Mustard and VX are the strongest gases from that pack, they are dangerous when inhaled, can be absorbed through skin and can contaminate surfaces. When using chemical weapons in Gmod always remember to wear your gas mask and chemical suit to avoid accidental self-gassing and un living yourself, cause these gases are just as likely to kill you as they are your target. Chemical suit and gas mask combo is the only way to use them without endangering yourself.

Voices of the Void very quickly became one of my favorite games. The way you can make the base feel like it's your own but never quite feel perfectly safe in it is the epitome of "creepy and comfy." From cleaning up all the trash and grime to adding furniture, decor, and cameras. I even used the wall builder to hang glow sticks around the perimeter of the parking lot to improve visibility. It feels like my own little spot in a world of the unknown. But I'm well aware that I'm not the only one who can open the base doors.

15:26 so your job is specifically to scan the sky for *anomalous* signals. That makes so much sense as to why they never act surprised when you send them creepy drives! They're not NASA or something, they're out there specifically to find anomalies in space, hence why they never really react to the contents of the drives, its exactly what they were looking for! It always confused me and many others why they just dont ever care about what we send besides the quality of the drive, but with that one word in the email it makes so much sense now.

A new season of this game reminds me of going to my grandparents cabin for a weekend getaway, which is nice to have something to replace that with since they sold it a few years back- although the smell of wood, carpet, and forest would switch to concrete, trash, and forest. Also, of all the beasts and wonders in those forests, I wouldn't be surprised if Bigfoot would be among them. Fun Fact: There was a real-world animal relating to Bigfoot (the closest thing to them), called Gigantopithecus (giant orangutans). It's not an exact, but if we're to believe there are "Bigfoot" out there, they could have evolved to be more bi-pedal like us.
