A great upload, and like many others I recognise the Mad Mile. Good to see the "thanks" from the schoolchildren at the end - that type of communication is excellent. Stockhold greetings for a good weekend.

The clip showing the cars turning just proves my point, people don't care, and as for indicators...... I followed cars yesterday who never used an indicator at all despite 7 or 8 roundabouts and junctions. It's like an epidemic and some car drivers in certain brands are worse than others for it. We have become a nation of lazy drivers, how hard is it to keep on your side of the road, stay in your lane on a roundabout or use an indicator. I actually hate driving now and my longest trip is a 60 mile journey taking my son to his mums and returning home maybe once a month, the rest of the time I go 2 miles to the shops and then home again. If it wasn't for the fact I live out in the sticks I'd stop driving altogether I hate it that much nowadays.

And the amount of red light jumpers... Drivers got impatient and lazy these days, and less considerate of other road users.

@@Holycurative9610 this is why I highlight this. Learners don’t stand a chance, it makes teaching extremely difficult and why I shout this out. Thank you for your comment.

04:00 I would have waited for the van to pass before pulling out, teaching patience should be priority.

Some of the problem we face on today's roads are caused by a massive influx of foreign licence (or non licence) holders. My wife has come over from the Philippines and I wouldn't let her drive here because, despite never having driven a car in her life, she has a licence from her home country. When I was at school in the late 70s I don't remember one kid who was from abroad, apart from an American, but at my son's school there were 14 different languages spoken in his class alone. We now have a class of van/delivery drivers who are from all over Europe where the criterion for getting a licence is different to the UK but they can drive on that licence here and even people who passed a test here, and have UK nationality, drive like lunatics without a care for any other road users. The roads are a lot different to when I passed my test in 87/88 and the changes aren't for the better. I don't envy you your job especially teaching in London.

@@Holycurative9610 thank you, it is very difficult. My son said to me “ Dad, you have got such an easy job” until I started to teach him to drive, and humble pie was bountiful.
