@@VenrisSFO I have been keeping my steam offline ever since ToD dropped just so i can play 4.2 with SFO and my previous mod. Cannot wait to get my hands on 5.0 SFO. I'm currently in the begining of a Luthor Harcon campaign and have to ask are there any plans on buffing mortars somehow cause currently they barely hit anything on very hard and if they hit they deal little to no dmg at all. (same for empire mortars). Maybe giving them a but more accuracy or buffing the dmg if they land would help cause currently they are almost usless

@@ILdariusGamechannel Sooo long story you currently cannot do it because your game is already updated BUT its quite simple and you can use it for the next patch. First make sure auto update is disabled for Total War Warhammer III in steam. Until a patch drops you can play like normally, but the day before the patch make sure you run your steam in OFFLINE MODE (top left corner in steam has this option). Once steam is in offline mode you can still play the game. If for some reason steam wants to update the game when you try to open the launcher you can use an external modding tool (WH3 Mod Manager is quite good and offers table check to prevent mod conflicts)

Venris, my respect to you and the SFO team is unmatched to any other modder I've ever encountered or used a mod of. Your dedication to making this game as good (and a bit different) as it can possibly be is not only commendable, but is a huge reason I love this game. I wish CA would give you early access to future updates so you can get a headstart on future SFO updates or even offer to hire you and make SFO an official add-on for WHIII. Regardless, I love the work you guys do and will continue to follow it until it inevitably ends and continue to follow you on future projects outside of WHIII. So excited for this update!

From a modding point I wonder. How easy/hard would it be to allow recruitment of certain unique faction units to allies? Like allow Karl Franz to recruit a minor quantity of Amethyst units from Elspeth

@@eduj it's missing words that would enhance its meaning, I changed very little in the way of the actual meaning of the paragraph. I put it into the kind of "fantasy English" you see in CA's text all around the game. At least mine is proper English. I know that language isn't Venris's first language but they should get somebody on board who knows how to write it. Honestly it's my one and only gripe with SFO... you can always tell the flavor text is written by someone who speaks broken English.

Maybe instead of the generic followers for Volkmar (ward save, coordinated carnage etc.) they give soul bombards with 1 or 2 uses per battle, or shield of faith 1 or 2 times per battle. The followers of the sigmar cult having a light connection to the faith-based abilities despite being an engineer, captain or wizard would be kind of cool and thematic. Although, they would have to be expensive to use or cause a miscast effect on the user for balance. Just my .02 cents

I am always excited for SFO updates. I wanted a change with Volkmar as well. I modded the Slannesh cult army ability to Volkmar. In areas of High corruption of anytype

Maybe an edict for volkmar for 1 turn that increases all armies damage/missle strength/defense (light version of the arch lector skill line buff) for all creators of corruption, maybe two separate ones for chaos/undead?

Venris, you really need someone to proofread the SFO texts... I work as a PL-EN translator for over 18 years now. And my eyes bleed when I see some things :) It's 'veneration of', not 'veneration to'. :)

@@VenrisSFO I wasn't talking only about the current update. My biggest peeve is 'Queek's Awe'. :( Why 'Awe'? (which is Polish is simply 'zachwyt'). Why not - notriety, or infamy, or authority, or supremacy? Also, 'Queek's Awe' means "Zachwyt Queeka", a nie "Zachwyt nad Queekiem", so it's there's also issue with grammar here. Don't feel attacked, Venris. That's not my goal. I love your mod and I appreciate all the hard work you and your team put into it. I tried modding myself, but it's black magic to me. Language, however, is not. I'm busy until July, but after that if you'd like some help with proofreading, I'll more than happy to help.

Huuuuge! Venris, you make an already replayable game into an INFINITELY replayable game. Literally every faction plays soooo uniquely in so many more ways than 1. I simply do not have the time to play them all, stoppp!
