First the whole Storm of Chaos thing where they turned him into a giant standard (GW later retconned his fate and he got better). And the other one is the damn End Times and how they killed him off. Even Mannfred was horrified and I was too.

Battle pope! I always felt like Volkmar and the fact that he took his work so seriously was one of the reasons that the Cult of Sigmar became so much more like a living breathing religion.

I wanna make this question for the next stream: was Kavzar part of the fabled Myrmidian/Reman empire ? and do you think the birth of the Skaven was part of a plot to effectively kill this human empire in its "infancy" before it could oppose Chaos like the Empire does in modern days ?

volkmars jade griffin is stylistically very weird. Its one of those rare cases of equipment in warhammer that isn't depicted in the style of the faction that uses it. Like, take Gitsnik as an example. Despite being a Chaos Dwarf axe, it looks like something an Orc threw together out of scrap. That tends to be the case for every important weapon or bit of armour in warhammer, but the jade griffin is one of the few cases where its style isn't brought in line with the broader faction.

I will say this; as a participant in the Storm of Chaos- It speaks to the same thing that WFRP does. The world might end. But the community pretty much decided “Not Today”. The poor writers (like the Dark Gods) were left in a bad situation due to free willed humans going “Nah bro”. I will have you know as a player for the Dogs of War we were just hoping to get an army book :3 I feel like the Great Retcon was like the ending of The Devil’s Advocate where the Chaos Gods rewound reality out of sheer frustration and rage at the uncontrolled outcome.

You guys seem to be very into this and that’s awesome. However this is my 5th and last video I will watch as the plots stories and history all sound to be the ravings of a mad man. It’s a good game and I’m enjoying the TW version but man the lore stupid confusing and contradictory
