The smoke wrench and chisel is awsome, precision and brute force working in tandem. Just a tip get yourself a welders spoon aka smashed flat copper pipe to back up the thin metal to help stop blowing through. Your doing great work. Replacing rusty non existent metal with solid steel and welding it in is the right way. Glad to see no pop rivets, sheet metal screws, or even worse fiberglass. Shudder at the thought. Thanks for sharing. Jawbreaker sounds awsome love the cam lope through the stinger.

Hey Rob! I agree, there are many ways to do this but I also shudder at the thought of fiberglass in place of metal. I’d rather do this to the best of my ability, correctly the first time.

Man, I’m gonna have to get myself a plasma cutter now! That really makes it easy. That body stand has paid for itself many times over. Can you imagine doing that firewall on the ground? Nice progress, Gary! 👍

I wouldn’t be doing that firewall or heater channels if it was on the ground! Plus I built the dolly before the lumber prices went up…. Should be able to sell when I’m done and buy a bus with the profits? Lol 😂

I was stoked to watch the video...then you brought out the plasma cutter. What a bummer. Effortless pain and suffering bypassed. No cuts or disk dust. No ringing ears. Lol was way too easy. Yeah.. plasma cutter not in my near future

It's a really great day when you can play with the plasma cutter. Makes me smile and sometimes giggle. Air chisel is functional and better than a hammer and chisel. Glad to see all the good work. Humid now days, huh.

I always say try to work smarter and not harder. This seemed to do the trick and got the job done. But seriously, who doesn’t like fire?!? 😂 It’s definitely been hot and humid down here, can’t wait for winter already.

Between the plasma cutter and the air chisel this went way too easy. You’re right, trying to find a balance is difficult but a healthy balance is important.

i did that job and made the mistake of removing the entire firewall. fitting the new one was a B. did not line up with pan when done. had to seriously mod it. smart move fittin body with pan and proceeding from there.

It’s an Amazon one, herocut but Forget the model though… 240v 40a plasma cutter. Been working pretty decent.
