Volvo 240 Project - Day 8 - Wheel Arch & Door Skin Repair and More Welding!

We continue with the repairs on the 240 project. Lewis gets the other inner & outer wheel arch replaced and welds in the new lower quarter patch. Leane fixes the the door skin and carries on welding up the trim holes. There's a bit of mini sandblasting thrown in for good measure. We make some real good progress but there is still lots to do!

I've just started to watch the volvo 240 project. im loving every minute. Your dog rusty can i just say my father had a workshop and is dog wondered around and the dust on the floor gave the dog lung cancer 😢 who would have knew.

I have given my abonation because the Fiesta MK1 Supersport restauration . What`s about that car ? Why did that restauration stopped ? Fiesta MK1 is much more interessting because there are nearly no more nessesary bodypanels avaylable !! .... Greetings from Germany

Don't worry there more fiesta videos on the way! The reason there has been a little break is as you say... its hard to find panels so we have had to source a doner car 🙂 good news is that we did find one and work has started again.

All welders are different it's almost like they have their own personalities 😂 not sure what yours is but ours you just set the metal thickness and it's automatically adjusts all the settings for you.
