Love the videos man. Just when I was thinking about doing mobile dpf cleaning and mobile mechanic as my main business I saw your videos. Nice to see proper diagnostic work explained extremely well by a fellow Irish man. I'm in Dublin, just started a business, Automotive diagnostics for dealerships and independent garages and remapping ecu. Just as I'm realising all the dpf problems and people just cleaning them and being surprised in 100 miles when full again?. For such a simple system the lack of knowledge is mind boggling so iv ordered a Milwaukee compressor a mityvac, manometre and a jlm dpf gun (could not get the launch gun, funny story I rang launch diagnostics, different company 😂) iv converted my 2005 Porsche cayenne v8 to commercial and I'm going to become the main man in Ireland for mobile dpf cleaning. Iv learned more from you than the training from Bosch.

Jimmy, the "power pulse" system you mentioned is just the equivalent of taking your little compressor that you attach to the cleaning gun and sticking it in the engine compartment. The hose from the compressor goes to the exhaust inlet of the turbo with a valve that opens when you bury your foot into the excelerator pedal. The whole idea is to spin the turbo up sooner so there's no turbo lag. If the valve or hose was damaged or malfunctions I could see this being an issue affecting exhaust gas pressures, EGR pressure, or turbo issues that could have an effect on the DPF, or some of the sensors in the exhaust.

Hi. What are the correct pressure differences on the dpf in xc60 ii 2.0D 190km 2020? I cleaned the dpf after this error occurred, idle speed is about 2-3hPe, 2,000 rpm - 7-8hPe, 3,000 rpm - 17-20hPe. You have 7hPe at 3,000 rpm and it seems very little. I would think that the dpf is clean, and if there was a large pressure difference, then I would say that it is clogged. Additionally, I have the P20EE error. Can you give me some tips?

not always, can damage the DPF sometimes requiring replacement.

P200200 DTC means there’s a crack in the dpf

or a failed PM sensor. before replacing a very expensive DPF, should always check for soot at the SCR first to rule out the PM. in this case, Jimmy confirmed there is also low differential pressure at idle so most likely bad DPF. you can't just use a code without troubleshooting.

As long as there’s no air leaks and the turbo actuator is fine then it’s the dpf

@@user-zz9wh4sx6d Volvo has a TSB that says you can get a false code if the PM sensor fails. Volvos concerns in releasing the information was that to many shops were changing a DPF unnecessarily without confirming soot at the SCR, with a PM failure.
