Agreed I just had my 10th knee surgery yesterday! I can’t hold knee replacements bones to soft. My MRI only showed one tear but had 2 and lot of loose material floating around causing havoc. After surgery and tomorrow better than it’s been in almost a year. Lester would be so much better off and since I had a shoulder work on do knee before shoulder. Just my 2 cents.

It's so impressive to see the pristine white blocked stalls Voo is in. Horses are quite comfortable in stalls and just like humans see beds as a comfort, an injured horse feels comfortable in the safe environment . There isn't even any poop on the floor. Very impressive veterinary equine hospital. And he has full visual access of other horses.

Oh I’m so happy he’s “graduated” to regular unit. As clean and sterile it is there I would want to keep him there as long as possible especially with that open wound. But I hope he keeps healing quickly so he can come home. You keep improving Voo! We love you and praying for you!!!

Voo will need to associate the trailer with good things like food, snacks and grooming after you can take him home, maybe start feeding him in there daily for about a month until he can walk right in without a panic attack. PTSD sucks poor dude. prayers

I had the same issues with a horse loading. She was absolutely terrified. Tried loading her for over an hour. Finally I got help from the students. 15 of them came out and she loaded right up. So don't hesitate to ask them for help if he doesn't want to load. Prayers for more healing Voodoo.

Through the lens of all your wonderful videos and the years gone by, I fell in Love with Voo long ago. 🖤🤍 When my lil guy was being treated at U of I Lrg animal clinic, wild horses couldn't keep me away either from the daily hour and 45 min drive down to U of I. My ankle high lil guy Takota was the most photographed and visited patient the large animal clinic ever experienced. His neighboring stall friend was a massive, breathtakingly $tunning and gentle famous horse. He fell in Love with my ankle high to him Takota. That high dollar horse was obsessed with Takota. He would constantly peek over the top of the masonry wall to watch Takota's every move and to communicate 😳😂. Continued prayers for you and Sweet Voo🖤🤍. Tracy

I lived in College Station for almost 30 years up until 2022. The building is basically nothing. It's been there for years. It was built by multi-millionaire Don Adams. No one really knows why he built it, I guess because he could lol. I will recommend an amazing family owned Mexican food restaurant in downtown Bryan, called Papa Perez that I miss sooooo much.😫 It has the BEST green sauce EVER! LOL I used to get the chicken fajita nachos on the flat chips (you have to request it that way). It's about 10 min from where VooDoo is.

I used to take care of a poly pony who would hit her head when loading in trailers she was always being transported in trailers so we bought a leather helmet that attached to her halter to protect her we also had a sheepskin roll on the front of her halter to protect her nose. I don’t know if you could find one for Voo when he has to go in a trailer. So happy he is doing well he is a beautiful horse. ❤

If voo is worried about hitting his head buy him a poll guard it sits on top of head between ears and fasterns under chin to protect head can highly recomend them

Voodoo is truly an amazing horse and is very intelligent. He is gentle and so beautiful so what's not to love about this guy? I am so happy to see him doing so well so soon and am looking forward to seeing him back home in his own safe space which makes him happiest. Continuing prayers for the granola lover much like my son and I would also be sneaking in his treats too. I think Voodoo will heal much faster than we have all expected considering the magnitude of his wound. He is strong willed, and this makes his recovery time so much less stressful for you too. Lots of prayers are still being sent all the time for this majestic animal and I have faith that he will be coming home very soon.

Good day Jami. Might I gently say that horses' skin is very similar to human skin, so bathing every day is beneficial to them. I know that can't be done when he's home because you and Lester are so busy, but you can give your horses full baths whenever you want to do. Voo looks really good and he seems to be healing well.
