You forgot to tell them to NEVER hold the handle down because if you do it will screw up the whole system by allowing air into the pipes which then requires priming the toilet which means flushing it 5 times in a row to get it back working sort of correctly. And don't forget to give these instructions to all houseguests before they enter your bathroom or else the next person through will have a completely unsatisfactory experience, meaning the contents of the toilet ( i.e. human waste products) will simply swirl round and round she goes and where she ends up everybody knows because she never left the bowl! But not wanting to be a total downer, I could mention that the slow closing lid is really nice.

Almost every time we have company stay in our guest house we have to prime the toilet after they leave. I guess because everyone seems to think it is a good idea to hold down on the flush lever when they flush.

I just installed new flapper and teeter bar. Flushed 5x... Problem is, my toilet still is NOT syphoning! I am in Los Angeles and American Standard cannot provide me with a list of plumbers who know this "2-flapper system"... What To DO???

I don't have any problems with priming it,but the flapper is leaking already and the bowl is only 2 months old.

What does this whole phrase mean? "Fully depress the trip level arm and turn the adjustable teeter bar until the flapper frame reaches the red flap area of the flush valve frame." Huh? What is a frame? What is the red flap area? What is a flush valve frame?

When I first saw the design, I thought the replaceable silicone seal was clever as most of the issues I've had with older designs involved the rubber getting old or covered in calcified caulk from hard water... Oddly, when I removed the seal on the red flapper which was giving me trouble, I discovered that it had a larger "water blister" in it. Kind of like a water balloon. It seems there must be a couple layers of silicone.. I "popped" the blister from the top side careful not to completely penetrate the seal. It squirted and then flattened out. Put it back in, and it seems to have stopped leaking... I did order some of the cheaper replacement seals on Amazon for about $5 a piece as I have a couple toilets with this design. We'll see.

I was able to replace the flappers without taking things apart. Just pop the flappers out and pop them back in.

Don't by this toilet! It is poorly designed, parts are overpriced. Doesn't live up to the hype!
