Voting is a matter of fiqh not aqeeda. There are differences of opinion & its our responsibility to present various opinions & not to suppress one or another. By the way I disagree with Sh. Hamza but I recorded/uploaded it because my mind is open to be changed & I recognize that one stance cant be the absolute truth because each side presents reasonable arguments. What we're doing is no different than books of fiqh that present contrasting opinions on one issue from different schools of thought.

Now a days we have lots of public speakers who don't give a solution for the Muslim countries that are in fire but rather choose to tell how to fit inside the western society. Basically they are targeting the symptoms of a problem and pay no attention on the source of the problem. Islam is not only a religion but a complete way of life with it's own social system, economical system, educational system, ruling system , court system etc. If people don't see this then Muslims will keep living in declined way,. To change a society change the public opinion, the rulers and the rules. Public speaker their job is to change the public opinion by telling them that secularism is not allowed within Islam.

You're not being practical or realistic. We probably have over 100 different speakers on our channel. Do you expect them all to agree on every point? Differences among the scholars on matters of fiqh is actually a mercy, if you understand the true spirit of Islam. No misleading here. Actually just the opposite!

Not interested in entering into a debate over the issue of voting. The scholars have differed and I will leave it at that. I respect your view. The debate we are having is about whether or not to present and promote various opinions on a single issue. Or at least that's what I thought our debate was about! :)

Because you are not voting or stand as a politician be ready to live under non muslim leader and follow all rules which are not related to muslim. If two politician stand for position one is muslim and another is non.muslim. And All muslim fail to vote guess who will win. And when if he win election whowill be affected more. SubhanAllah, brother mentions 3 scholars...1 which isnt even a scholar, rather a historian (ibn kathir) and says its aqida. Brothers may Allah bless all of you but we have to work with principles, methodology and understanding in proper context. There have been thousands of scholars from the salaf up until now and the three aforementioned were not the only ones upon haq. Even if we just bring the three, who here has read there works in arabic and understood? I mean really......Allahshelpissought

[18] Al-Kahf : 26 Say, "Indeed, I am on clear evidence from my Lord, and you have denied it. I do not have that for which you are impatient. The decision is only for Allah. He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders." [6] Al-An'am : 57 And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient. [5] Al-Ma'ida : 49 Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith]. [5] Al-Ma'ida : 50 And leave what is apparent of sin and what is concealed thereof. Indeed, those who earn [blame for] sin will be recompensed for that which they used to commit. [6] Al-An'am : 120 And do not eat of that upon which the name of Allah has not been mentioned, for indeed, it is grave disobedience. And indeed do the devils inspire their allies [among men] to dispute with you. And if you were to obey them, indeed, you would be associators [of others with Him]. [6] Al-An'am : 121

Muslims are not supposed to be involved in any manner in political exercise & governance of non-Muslims ruled & governed not by the Quran but by Constitution & Laws of men. It is Haram in my level of understanding of Islam by the Quran Alone, excluding all words of men outside of the Quran. Shariah Law & hadiths are of men & not of Allah swt. Any words of men outside of Quran is clearly forbidden in Quran 7:3; 69:44-46.
