You can really hear the damage her eating disorder had on her voice here. It's so different (obviously 10 years will change your voice as well), but this was about a year before she got help for ED and you could tell it was raspy from purging. So glad she's gotten help and been honest about her journey to recovery every step of the way!

Don't be so paranoid. I worked for the census and I know that they do not share their information with any other branch of the government. It's actually a very useful piece of information regarding the 'self-defined' racial profile of the U.S. Don't you think it's interesting? Maybe if there are, at some point, more Spanish speaking people in the U.S. than English speakers, the government will hire bilingual teachers? Information can be a powerful too for positive change.

All you are reqired to give them on the census is the # of people living at your address . WHEN YOU are asked your nationalality , you put in OTHER and right in AMERICAN ---THAT'S IT.

I filled out my census form. But I left the questions blank about race because I do not want to be discriminated against because of my race. I'm an individual, and that's why I have rights, not because of my race. I also didn't fill out the question about home ownership. This is a private matter, and I don't trust the govt with such info. There is only constitutional authorization to count the people, not to inquire about their races or whether they own their own homes.

There are literally millions of people in this country without a drivers license, that don't file income tax (too little or no income), that aren't registered to vote (only 56.8% of those eligible voted in 2008) etc. etc. A survey in the mail and use of modern statistical techniques is the most accurate way to take a census. It's also backed up by live interviews for those residences that don't return their census form.
