While one may acknowledge the ingenuity and resourcefulness of El Chapo and his gang in executing their illegal activities, it is important to remember the devastating impact of their actions on society, including the loss of countless innocent lives and the perpetuation of violence and corruption. @@Vyrkhan " it's better to be dumb than have half the knowledge " - Socrates You know that a majority of US consumed illegal Drugs come from the docks but don't know how. They come from china( the so called "communist" one , ie the PRC ) . They take advantage of our Postal acts, because of which we can't check what's inside a postal package while transportation. That why , they ship almost finished drugs or raw materials for drug production ( Both of which are a million times more harder to find that say completely processed drugs) and then they are processed at one of the three major processing hubs in US - San Diego ( California), Toledo (Oregon ), or Lynnwood ( Washington) . Then they are trucked to distribution hubs in 23 States. The Problem with catching the processing facilities are that :- 1) The processing facilities don't order the almost finished drugs or raw materials for drug production, they arrive from China and are then sold to the production facilities. And there is so much competition in this industry that if one production facility is closed another one will just pop up near by. Also the ridiculous amounts of profits made through a production facility don't help the problem. One production facility earns the owner close to 1.5 billion dollars yearly on average. 2) Finding these facilities are like finding a needle in a haystack where if you mistakenly pick up the hay you are having a two months suspension sentence best and a 3 years prison sentence worst. In each of these production hub cities there are at least 1 productions facility for every 1000 residential homes. You can't go banging on the doors of thousands of people suddenly now can you?

They were putting in new pipes for sewer and had a bunch of dirt piled on the side of the rode near the jail and up to the jail. She said the common joke around the town was that they were building a tunnel for El Chapo and disguising this construction for pipes for all the dirt that was piled on the road. It was like a job anyone can go and get. Everyone knew he was gonna go. It’s like everyone was paid off but in reality, only the warden was and everyone just lived in fear including police.

It’s honestly really scary. As a citizen here, I don’t find jokes about this funny at all, I find them quite ignorant & disrespectful to all innocent people who died in the hands of crime.

We can kill 1000 El Chapo's and change absolutely nothing. Instead of fighting a pointless war on drugs the focus should be on developing economies. No one wants to be at the mercy of a drug cartel as their own outlet from poverty.
