I loved Voyager, but the concept of it didn't quite reach the potential it had. It could easily have outshined ds9 and next generation had they done a few things differently. With a little more maquis and a little less kazon seasons 1 and 2 could have been better. The vidians should have been included in more episodes including a visit to their home world. By the end of the run they had watered down the Borg too much. Not that I was disappointed in them, but the Borg were scarier for the most part in next gen. And there were a few aliens they could have used more, like the krenin. Seven of nine was a brilliant addition to the crew though.

+axelbjefs It's sad how few people probably get your comment, from not realising his real name is Robert Picardo.

Dr. Picardo was the "Fonz" of this show....the breakout character who made the show more interesting than it would be without him.

I'm honestly surprised Starfleet never thought to create something like this before the Doctor proposed it.

i love voyagers recurring villain progression. it goes from the kaizon to the garbage men to the hunters to the borg. the borg are also recurring throughout though after the kaizon.

(01:05) i love his facial expression with pureness and seriousness. This was the exacly same eyes i had When i was a '90 kid, and watching Star Trek Voyager on CRT display.

From my childhood, my favorite episode from the sparse ones that I watched was 'Blink of an Eye' However, when I went back and watched all the seasons (not finished yet) I decided this was my new favorite. I LOVE when the 4 rank dots appear after he says 'activate the ECH' 0:54 It is so hilarious!!
@LaBarata1211 жыл бұрын
Agreed, that's hands down my favourite part.
@simonpurist449910 жыл бұрын
"Blink of an Eye" was ripped off from "The Wild, Wild West" B&W episode where a frontier chemist invents a drug that could speed him up so he could commit crimes; ironically it was more realistic than the Trek episode, since he had to be careful not to move too fast in order avoid catching fire from air-friction..... and of course that's how James West kills him, by dousing him with alcohol and letting it ignite.

How would the 'slower' air particles around the person cause an increase in kinetic energy in the person. Even if this was imagined in newtonian physics, shouldn't he freeze rather than burn?
@simonpurist449910 жыл бұрын
Tim-J.Swan Newton's first law that an object at rest remains at rest, resulting in air-friction when a person runs into them.

Simon Purist plus its tv, theyl do what they want, im still trying to figure out why when scottie beamed that us air force piolot back into his jet as they were going back into their own time, made him forget where he was, at least in this episode the explanation makes some form of sense
