Unfortunately I couldn't, because of infertility issues. You see when the government finally decided to help couples with IVF, I was to old, and I had then lost my spouse. You’re right. In spite of public protestations they are against IVF In Vitro Fertilization. That’s next on the chopping block. Some states have already moved to make it illegal. There’s two main reasons: 1. Gay couples can get a child with IVF, 2. the procedures requires the production of several embryos only one of which eventually becomes a baby: and since according to them life starts at conception and an embryo is a baby, discarding those embryos would be murder.

It works both ways. When I married my second husband he had no children. My daughter ASKED my now husband if he would be her daddy before he had even asked me to marry him. (She was 3yrs old). She has always called him daddy, now dad because she is in her fifties. Biological parentage has nothing to do with real love.

I too dont have "biological children! But I helped raise 13 nieces and nephews. I also worked 5 years as a group bome parent. Til this day a niece and nephew pay tribute to me, for when my sister died, I was there for them and supported them at games, school, church, and more!!

Going forward, my circumstances didn't support adoption. But I do have many children through the church and family. Who wants to have mean mothers/ fathers like these folk anyway?
