I know Kamala is out to win, and it behooves her to point out her opponent's flaws and shortcomings. But the fact that she spends more time talking about the needs of NC and FL and their neighbors, rather than what her opponent is failing at, is a good sign in my book. She's got to fight, but she isn't out to undermine suffering people or the services meant to help them. Politicizing helping our OWN PEOPLE is a level of disgrace I can't articulate. I trust that Kamala wouldn't have even brought up politics vs. aid if Trump hadn't done it first. She's a fantastic speaker with a solid moral compass from what I've seen thus far, and just that charisma and general want to do good is exactly what we need in a leader. And the fact that so many folks like Michelle Obama, Nobel Prize winners (which I treat like knighthood), educators, scientists, activists, and so on support her, tells me she's the right choice right now. I proudly voted as early as possible here in MI, and I proudly selected the Harris-Walz ticket. The fact that these two are concerned with empathy and getting away from the chaos of Trump is honestly all I needed to know about them.
