Code Igniter is a 2 extra deck GY setup for Darkfluid or Singularity... Adds a ritual (Sage), ritual summons it, Sage fusions into desavewurm, synchro for the 7 which you're playing already, add back what you tributed, and now you have ritual fusion synchro xyz in GY

Hold on, the "guy" on Meteor's alt art looks like a grey Jurrac Titano... Does that mean Titano turned into Meteor and the art is depicting it mid-transformation, like the rock layer is forming around its body? If so, that's extremely cool but also extremely ironic, because you can't make Meteor (lv10) with Titano (lv9) since it requires 2+ non Tuners. Also the Bisexual Dino is pretty much Jurrac support in everything but name. It feels like a bridge betweem their old battle-oriented playstyle and the new Rock Spam from TW2, letting you quick sync into an Astero during the BP for more damage. It's even the perfect level to use with a Guaiba that already used its effect, AND a tuner to revive with Meteor.

I love how Accode is both visually and effect wise a merge of Dark Templar and Accesscode. First effect to special summon is very much derived from Templar, as that one summons as many Lvl 4 or lower @Ignisters from the GY as possible and the negate is pretty much the inverse of Accesscode. Instead of your opponent not being able to respond to destroying a card on the field for banishing a link monster, you now tribute a link monster to negate and banish.

Let's go, the new P.U.N.K. cards will be so fun to play with. Really shows how sometimes you just gotta give a deck two new tools to play with. Like how the XYZ can flex as a draw/negate or both dependinh on what you need. Also curious if there is a way to make it early to play around nib. The way the combo generally works I believe Dragon Drive would be your 6th summon sadly but with the new lvl 8 you can get out a synchro early, if you want to. Not sure if that's really what you'd want tho

I was torn over whether or not the Nekroz cards would see play, but I just realized that VV can now add a Unicore to their one card combo with a very minimal Nekroz package (1 Brio, 1 new Emilia, 1 Unicore, 1 Cycle). Combo is Lo -> Barrier -> Saffira-> foolish Cycle add Skull Guardian -> banish saffira summon skull guardian -> search Brio -> search/summon Emilia -> search Unicore -> add back cycle -> summon unicore tributing Emilia. Although if you include this package, it’s probably better to up the number of Nekroz’s so these inclusions feel less like bricks, that way you could still play with a hand that only sees Brio + non-engine.

I'm always hyped to see PUNK or GP support - those two together are my pet deck, after all, and an extra avenue for extension through HTs really helps it not struggle so much on poorer openers. GP-PUNK can do cold fusion, or it feels like it does, if allowed to pop off. It sadly has some extremely obvious choke points and loses horribly to cards already being sided to deal with better decks. A fair few rogue decks fall into almost that exact description, but i promise mine is different because it's mine and therefore precious and special.

I do think the Nekroz pendulum is better thank he’s giving it credit for. It’s better than SP because it comes back but the opponent’s monster doesn’t. I think it’s a lot closer to DPE than SP, but it banishes instead of destroying (at the cost of needing to target). Still probably not craaazy, but better than what he’s describing

Being a Generic link-2 you can make any time is more value than a clunky Ritual monster you have dedicate slots to searching and summoning it. It also does nothing in hand if you draw it unlike most of the other nekroz Rituals that have great hand effects. MBTs comments were spot on the support it feels like bare minimum on the assignment.

In theory the xyz is just a more consistent but harder to make sage. There’s advantages and disadvantages to both but it could see play. I see the theory here but I think largely decklists only change a little. Also main deck Kuribo still bad, some things never change.

I came into the game around 2019 and I do not recall plunder patroll or anything since then being generically busted. If we want to further reduce these exclusives to maze sets, of which this would be the third, none of them have really done anything of note. Technically speaking, the last two sets supported preexisting cards and I guess made them archetypes ( gate guardian and flameswordsman).

Maybe I'm not a real Vrains fan, but I couldn't care less about cyberse slop and specifically ignister. I'll keep on waiting for them to finally print Armatos Legio, Drones and these weird windy birbs. Also, I'm "proud" of some artist how serious they take the rules. Whenever during my lunch break I see a new vaguely female looking card annouced, I can with almost 100% certainty expect some fanart by the time I get off work.
