The Quadtrac Pros GREAT tires! The steering response is SUPER! You have to recalibrate your driving! They ride incredibly well on bad roads and have great grip in all weather. They have the “Mountain” insignia so are better than all seasons in snow. You can feel the beefier sidewalls. The tire feels VERY stout and have a higher load rating than my car requires. The only trade off is that the tires are so strong the sidewalks don’t flex much with a light car below 30 mph so ride is a bit stiff at those slow speeds but not unpleasant. At higher speeds though you can run fast on bad roads with comfort and control! I have a Mark 6 VW GTi with 17” wheels, upgraded brakes, a Bilstein B4 suspension (10% stiffer than stock) and a dead-set kit from Tyrolsport in NYC (phenomenal VW speedshop!) that stiffens up the front end. It’s a very nice handling car that the Vredesteins made even better. I had been running Michelin tires for many years. I am not a paid spokesman for Vredestein or Tyrolsport or Bilstein. I am a real customer.

Have them on my wife's Honda Fit. They're amazing in the wet, and SO SO quiet riding too. Very pleased with them so far.

This review is right on the money. My Vredestein Quadrac Pros on my 2018 Ford Mustang are performing amazingly. Super quiet yet grip the road awesomely in wet and dry conditions. I take curves and turns pretty aggressively and I am able to do it with full confidence. Snow driving has been far better than the previous tires I had for sure. I highly recommend them.

I started buying these tires in the late 70’s for my 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais, also had them on my Mercedes Benz 300D, then drove trucks for decades, now have them on my VW PassatTDI. I love them.

Jonny I was driving on Vredestein winter tires back in 1981 on my Volvos and their performance was fantastic, much better at the time than Michelin or Bridgestone , lasted 6 winters

I have been running the Vredestein "Quatrac 5" for two years, on a VW Tiguan. Excellent tire in all weather including rain and snow. Not a summer performance tire but handles everything I have wanted in a compact SUV. Tirerack has carried the Quatrac 5 for a few years (in the US).

Just put a set of Wintrac Pros on my Mark 7.5 GTI-- a bit too early, but I got them from TireRack and had to be sure they were balanced. So far, they're very grippy and accurate in the first cold and wet days under 40F. And they were priced well below competitors.

Nice to hear. Considering grabbing a set of 21" Vredestein Wintrac Pros for my X4 M40i. Very difficult finding a quality set of 21" ultra performance winter tires and glad I came across this option before going for the Pirelli Sottozero 3s.

Put some Quatrac Pros on my Mazda3 last year. Good tires. When they were new there was a bit of squirm on grooved highways, but it went away after a few months. Much better winter / wet performance than my previous all-season touring tires.

An older video but as there's so little Vredestein content out there, worth comment on. What you can get very much depends on what you're putting them on. Example: I might have wanted Quatrac Pros, but they're not offered in a size that works with my wheel wells (1992 Celica AllTrac). Might have wanted to try the Hypertracs, but the closest I can do is the single 16-inch offering (225/50R16) which is 10mm wider and a 1.4" upsize from spec--probably won't fit. The Ultrac Vorti would require getting 17-inch wheels and the smallest size (235/25R17) is still a 1.5" upsize and a full inch wider track than recommended. So, I've ordered Quatracs--still from the few reviews I have seen an excellent tire. Looking forward to seeing how they ride. As Vredestein is so new to the market, the quantity of reviews is low yet. Thankfully, it appears that they are all very solid products.

I purchased a set of 21-inch Quatrac Pro tires for my Volvo S90 T6 last year. After nearly 10k miles, this is a very good all-weather tire for those that do not want to switch tires when the seasons change. The DC Metro area experienced significant rainfall this past year and the Quatrac Pro maintained contact and confidence on wet surfaces at speed. Tire grip combined with the AWD system made driving in 2-inches of snow uneventful. On dry surfaces, tire noise has not been bad or intrusive like some other low-profile tires I have experienced from Pirelli and Dunlop. @Motortrend - I would be interested to see a comparison between the Ultrac Vorti and the Michelin Pilot Super Sports (or whichever is the successor to those).

How is the tread-life so far? There seem to be mixed reviews on the tread-life. I’m curious how yours have faired after 10k miles so far? I’ve been wanting a quiet set of “summer” tires that I don’t have to worry about in The central Vermont snow belt if I don’t get switched over to my winters early enough and get caught with an early storm. The Quadtrac Pro seemed to fit the bill until I saw some people get less than 20k out of them and a couple said the treadblocks were separating?

I have a set of quatrac pros on my e46 330xi, they're the only tire I'll ever buy for an awd car. They feel amazing, steering response is better than ever, ride is quiet, and they're rated amazing for snow. I can't ask for anything more.

I used the Quatrac Pros on my RWD Tesla S last winter and these have been the only tires in 7 years that have not lost traction when you punch the throttle in the wet. Sorry Nokian, the Vredestein's ride quieter and smoother and are now my go to tire.

Ultra High Performance A/S aren’t new to the states at all, we’ve had them for many years and made by pretty much every manufacturer. I might try a set the next time I need tires IF they turnout to be any good.

Might I recommend the Yokohama Advan AS Sport + they're some of the finest uhp all seasons I've ever driven on. Haven't driven in snow yet, but being a uhp as they're pretty much 3 season tires. Very smooth quiet ride with amazing grip wet or dry. I sound like a sales person.😒

Overall I have put almost 90k miles on them, and I am extremely satisified. I live in NYC area, and I drive in all kinds of conditions.

I REALLY wanted the Wintrac Pro from Tire Rack, was told they weren't available and that they'd have no idea if or when Vredestein would make them available for the US market, ended up buying the VikingContact 7 instead, and then availability of the Wintrac Pro was announced by TireRack like two weeks after I installed the VikingContacts. I was pretty pissed. The Wintrac Pro was exactly what I was looking for, and Consumer Reports had reviewed in some time ago with high marks to boot. For how long Consumer Reports has had them reviewed with top marks and that they were widely available around the world for a long time, not having availability in the US was really strange. I'm curious how the other models will fair in TireRack's testing.

Tire Rack has it against 3 others. It came in first above my preferred Continental PureContact LS currently on my Camry. I'm buying these for all of the family's cars and my sister's car. Trust my opinion, I've been a chauffeur, truck driver, and driving enthusiast for decades. Or read their reviews or watch it on Tire Rack's KZbin channel and decide for yourself.

Vredestein, great company and tires. I live very close to the company, sadly it wil stop being a Dutch company very soon. It was sold to an Indian company several years ago, with the understanding that it wil stay in the Netherlands. Now they make tires in Hungary (much cheaper) and wil soon stop the production in the Netherlands.

The new simple "quatrac" is the best 4season. There are quatrac 5, pro, lite so be careful when u order smg. In the USA you can't buy the simple quatrac...

Yes, Vredestein is an old brand... that got bought out by Apollo as they were failing. Apollo is a cheap Indian tire brand. The fastest way for a cheap tire brand to get name recognition? Buy it.
