VSC LIGHT, VSC LIGHT OFF, ABS LIGHT| '01 LEXUS GS430 [1/4]

Thanks for the video! I have a 3rd gen GS430 and my brakes hardly worked (no assist) after replacing front rotors & pads, and all those lights were on. This is how I fixed it: 1) Put car in accessory mode. To do this on this car you must shift to neutral while engine is running and then turn off car. Use the shift lock to move shifter to Park (P). You may have to hit start button one more time to enable accessory mode. 2) Insert paper clip jumper between slot 4 & 13 3) Lightly pump brakes quickly at least 4 times (I did 8 just to be sure) within 5 seconds. You don't have to push it to floor each time, just enough pressure that it would activate the rear brake light. 4) Shut down car and remove clip. 5) Do a regular start and lights should be gone and brakes should be working!

good video one other thing that worked for me was disconnecting the battery by loosing and removing the negative terminal for 30 min that reset everything perfectly. hope it also helps

Im wandering if the yaw sensor is whats tolling me in my aristo. The abs motor and accumulator work but i keep getting a abs light and buzzer. I did a tcs amd vsc delete years ago so maybe a wire is grounding put also. Thanks for the video.

A simpler approach. Black electrical tape over the ABS light. Works every time.

Love the pic in the dash gauges I have did that from like the 90s when I was in high school glad to see some one else doing that to ! And I hope this works on my 4 runner I put a lift kit under it and bigger tires I’ve tryed the others I’m gonna try this and I messed with the alignment on my 4Runner we’re i lifted it !

Hey hi, I have JDM Toyota Aristo 1998. This model comes with 2JZ GTE engine. Ok so in my car I have these problems 1. My VSC and TRC OFF lights are on but no check Engine light. So will this above video method will work on my car? 2. In my car the "ECT PWR" light is always blinking, can you please help me to solve these problem as well. Thanks you. (I mean blinking when the car is running or ignition is on.)

I unfortunately have never had experience with a JDM 2JZ GTE engine. So i can't give you advice on things i don't know. Your best bet is facebook groups and clublexus forums!

My 98' lexus ls400 currently. I have came to a few conclusions. Based on forums and from my personal experience it is said to be the wheel hub sensor(s) and can be the speeding sensors on the transmission. Also have problems with my PNP) switch.

Find out which pin-out is "Ts" & "CG." A lot of guides and forum links will tell you for your specific car. Good luck!

Working on a guy's 2008 Lexus GS 350 all those lights came on and there was no power steering and I basically have to just take a little lost and give him back his car so he can take it to the shop I changed all four wheel bearings all four struts all four wheel speed sensors, rear pads oil pan gasket transmission screen fluid and filter thermostat and coolant flush and cannot get those lights to go off with my scanner.

If it's for the same car, it would depend. Maybe they stretched the ABS cable/wheel speed sensor cable? You said VSC, Traction control and engine light so it can be something else. Only way to find out is pull the codes my friend or watch the other parts to find out how to check for a bad wheel speed sensor. I've read that it can happen to other cars due to not doing the steering angle reset after alignment, too. 👍

I'm not too entirely sure for Rav4's tbh. But it might be related to your check engine light so check that before messing with the vsc and track off light.

it will be a problem with the emission prob o2 sensor as when eml light is lite, it follows with vsc / trck light .

It's going to be different pin outs depending on the year. Try it out and see if it works if not then you're going to have to find the pin out for your year! If it is a different pin out, be sure to comment here so everyone can see! I'd also like to know as well

SuperBoogieboi I haven't because my pins are set up way different than in the video. A while back I had my dude hook up a tester and all of my wheel sensors were not working. This probably won't fix my car if I do figure it out, but I will do research and get back to you. What year is your car?

yeah, they should stay off permanently unless the problem occurs again. According to some members of club lexus, this is common especially after an alignment and the procedure "point zero calibration" in this video, should be done to get rid of those lights.

Hey, so this is a cheap fix. Typically you want to do this to see if your car's zero point calibration has been recalibrated after an alignment. But if it doesn't work, it might be a wheel speed sensor (typically the front wheel speed sensors). I have different parts within this series that troubleshoots the problem. So be sure to watch that.
