VSG #10 - 5 weeks pre op, PMS sucks!

The whinging is real in this one peeps!! I wonder if my hubby timed his fishing trip around this time on purpose? I know I would escape it too if I could :)

Hey Heidi. I found your channel from Nirvana. I'm not quite sure if it was through a comment but I ended up here. I had gastric bypass 4 years ago and i really recognize myself in you a lot pre op. In sweden they don't really do the VSG so thats why, I had the GBP. I just wanted to say that you probably will be able to eat absolutely everything after surgery again. Not directly after obviously but as the years and months go by, it gets easier and easier. It is pretty sad actually. I thought the same as you pre op but I learned my lesson... Post-op you will regret that you can eat it :( I had binge eating disorder some years before surgery and it stayed away for about 3 years post surgery, but now it is back again. And I can eat Everything in almost unlimited amounts (even if i had bypass surgery). I'm not kidding, 10 bread slices and 2 litres of ice cream kind of amounts of food. In one sitting. The colon can somehow learn to accept more foods... or I am some kind of medical miracle. Anyways, what i wanted to say was just - dont rely on it to limit your appetite a lot for the future! It will require mental strength!
