Congratulations This thrusday will be my two weeks post op. I had gastric bypass surgery Congratulations on your new you. Was it difficult the first two weeks after surgery?

Thanks so much! Congrats on your new journey! The first two weeks were pretty tough due to the pain. I was able to get up and moving, but getting up and down from a chair, couch, or bed was tough at times. I did my best to walk 30 mins each day to help with recovery. It gets better! I promise. Since I had VSG I can't hardly tolerate eggs anymore and I love eggs!! But it will hopefully get better for you! Congratulations on your surgery 🎉🎉❤❤

CONGRATS I am still in the pre-op stage and am trying to find protein shakes that I can make myself drink, they all taste so nasty to me. I am on the hunt now so I am not struggling to find ones when it is the actual go time

Thanks so much for watching! Which ones have you tried? It does take a while to get used to the taste. There are some that are unflavored if you ever wanna try those with zero sugar drinks.

@@TricesTastyEats the best brand I have tried so far is GNC Lean 25. I couldn’t stomach the premier protein premades. Trying the fairlife ones next.
