The fact that he made it 20 bucks but couldn’t even bother to make sure there was proper grammar is beyond me.📕

Bruh right? I’ve seen artists make amazing art zines available for free that absolutely gorgeous. Dude don’t got to be an artist or designer but there are so many free things out there that makes it real easy to have made that pdf look way better.

I’d like to add when Kat says “don’t send hate, if you have that much free time on your hands,” I say take up a hobby, learn a craft, practice a new skill, read a book.

Right!? The best thing is how bad it is and sounds if you try to force yapping as well. If you're good at talking and want to do zatsu, great. If you're really bad at babbling on and on you should probably change the type of streams rather than try to force yourself. The thing that makes yapping work is that it comes naturally, otherwise it sounds really forced and weird. Kind of like when you go back and watch early Holo EN and they were scared to have silent moments in their streams so they'd just fill it in with whatever random thing they could think of pointing out. Now it worked because they're all insanely talented, but it is noticeable that it's forced.

I saw me! Thank you for covering this. I had my own criticisms due to how the person insulted and undermined vtuber managers on the sale page. I reposted the collab etiquette guide I mentioned on my twitter for those interested! And thank you for saying my name right! 📕

📘 So many vtubers linked free resources in quote retweets and comments of the post, even some company people like the CEO of Vite Ramen started putting out resources. There's so many free resources out there, even if someone was very experienced it makes it difficult to add much more value behind a paywall

I'm gonna say something hella controversial: you don't need these type of guides to find success (but they do help with getting extra tips from others) Source: My own experience. I reached 1k subs by doing my own thing and being myself. Never viewed a guide, never looked for "growth guides".
@HyattHyatt317917 сағат бұрын
This is a really good point. They're never needed. If you're really bad at let's say marketing, then sure "how to make engaging posts" could help you. But in the end it's your own content and people need to come back for you. If you just follow a tutorial all the way then it won't be your specific content, it'll be you trying to apply yourself to a how to guide.
@Froggycolouring17 сағат бұрын
Exactly, the growth guide things remind me of during the 1848-1845 gold rush where one of the people who originally found gold sold everyone tools to find gold, but they never found much gold and he just made profit by making them think they needed his tools to find lots of gold History really does repeat itself

This tactic is straight from the guru/ business coaching space. Think of a niche you can sell too, position yourself as an expert, then create a digital product or as they call it, a low ticket offer. The next step would be some type of course, membership or coaching. Be mindful of stuff like this as this coaching/digital product grift is spreading in different industries.

📙📙📙📙 Great video. 4 books. Personally I don't mind paying for a book that curates free information ON THE CONDITION that the person writing the book has actual knowledge of the subject and can legitimately steer me towards helpful information. If I am trying to learn something and I just google the topic, I really have no idea if the free information I am getting is worthwhile, so it's valuable to me to pay for something from someone with credible experience on the topic. That said, I don't have confidence the person writing this "guide" has any sort of insight that's worth 30 dollars. That and using large fonts to artificially inflate the page count is just offensive to me.

I could buy the PDF and fix every grammatical error, add references and give actual statistics/studies instead of "trust me bro", I'd add more points take out the yapping and nonsense filler, I'd size down the chapter titles, remove pages and charge it for $0.00 and give an option to tip anything. (Cool looking Acorns will count as a tip too!) o7📘 Also I bet you'll learn only how to "Yap Nonsense."
