The 20th stage of the Vuelta a España is a brute with five categorised mountain passes. If anyone is showing signs of weakness, or any team fancies a long range ambush on the penultimate day, then this is the one! We’ve seen many a grand tour challenger come unravelled in sight of the finish, where someone who has timed their form perfectly goes long and steals the race . #LaVuelta19
This isn’t a livestream but it's the only highlights you need.

If Bennett doesn't start sprinting 200m early like the last time, I think nobody has any chance of beating him. I looked at the points classification and it needs some serious work. There is no point having it if everyone from the GC top 5 is included in the points top 6.

Amazing stuff from Pogačar. 38km alone in 20th stage is just incredible. This type of stage win is something multi-serial pro winners would be proud of.

The last 40k of the race seemed weird. Kept waiting for Movistar and Astana to ramp up the pace and reel Pogacar back in, but they never did. Valverde tried to ride off the front one time shortly after Pogacar's attack, but nobody followed and he turned around and gestured at them as he dropped back into the group. He certainly wasn't going to lead the group to save Quintana's 3rd place spot or Lopez's white jersey. And Roglic was content to just sit there with the leaders knowing Pogacar wasn't going to get over 4 minutes. I never quite decided whether Movistar or Astana just didn't care, if they expected Pogacar to crack, or if they were all tired from all of their previous climbing and attacking. I wasn't surprised Lopez wasn't able to follow since he had just put in 2 big attacks, but it seems like Movistar would at least try to follow to save Quintana's 3rd place spot. But, it seems you never really know what Movistar is going to do. And they don't even seem to ever really know themselves, either. Was great to see Pogacar attack and hold them off, tho. He helped make this race an exciting one with 3 stage wins and a third place finish. I was only a little selfishly disappointed he wasn't able to push on a little more to take 2nd.

Appreciate GCN for bringing us such good recaps of the race, SINCE WE CAN'T WATCH THE FUCKING RACE HERE IN THE US. Bike racing is one sport topic that nobody talks about here in the US. I go on group rides and ask other cyclists all the time, Did you watch that race? and the answer is always no. As large as the US is and how many cyclists we have I can't believe we still don't get much coverage of bike racing therefore little interest it seems also.

Just to digress, a guy at 4:07 slung his empty water bottle down, it's a slovenly dangerous habit and happens a lot, and you'd think there'd be a rule against it (unless it's guaranteed to go completely off the road) in case it causes a crash if following riders hit it.
