I honestly like that Nic Cage stayed silent in the whole movie. Gave it that 'main character from a videogame vibe', and the fact that he follows all the instructions like a game character would. Only difference is, it's not a horror game, it's a beat-em-up/janitor simulator. But also N.C. really sold it as a silent character, even one that's not super expressive.
