That car moves! And the suspension looks real tight while having those inflated tires that makes the ride smooth. This adds to my buggy-building motivation. Maybe a 911 swapped one.
@davidgrason1612 жыл бұрын
Why would you want a 911 swapped one? I've always said that, if you show me a man that is not happy with VWs, I'll show you a man that doesn't know VWs. When you have a VW engine that can haze those big fat hides, you are going to kill yourself if you pack in even more power. These super light weight buggies start to really get squirrely over 190hp or so. There comes a point that, yes, while they are insanely powerful, they are no longer fun to drive.

It's certainly a different concept to put Sweden, well known for its cold climate, and summer fun, which normally requires a hot climate, into the same sentence. 😉 Nonetheless, I love beach buggies and love Swedish car engineering, and Swedish car builder in general, and this example is exceptional. Thanks for the upload. 👍

Love that car. I'm glad to see that you stayed with the VW engine instead of trying to fit something water cooled in it. It seems here in the States, people just can't stand the idea of having a little sewing machine engine and just HAVE to change it out. I really enjoyed your video. BTW, what is the music that comes in at around 11:14? At 11:43 is the weirdest car I've ever seen. Over there in the oncoming lane is what looks like a Volvo 544 with a pick up truck bed on it. Did Volvo ever make one of these or is this something custom?
@Dempoj3 жыл бұрын
That volvo is a A-traktor/epa-traktor. Its a like a tractor convertion of a car. Its only allowed to go 30kmh but you get a license when you're 15 or 16. They were used as a cheap tractor in the 1930s but later in the 60s and 70s they became like a car for the youth.

@Brandk4rr4 жыл бұрын
@@ebbew ja. Numera.
