I’ve been getting daily emails from HF saying they’ve extended that Black Friday sale through Monday 4/18. It was great that it helped you make the decision for the bigger one. You did good - congrats for that. Really look forward to seeing all the steps for painting. I’ve always wanted to give it a try so I’ll be watching closely. 👍👍👍

You're shopping based on gallons. You need to be shopping based on CFMs. The tank can be 1 gallon as long as the motor will produce the CFMs you need. I use a 4 gallon gas powered and it has 7CFM @ 40, and it runs just fine.

Hi Slade, I have one like yours but a Craftsman I bought years ago. It's pretty loud so what I do is put it outside on the side of the garage and have a long air hose like you have but small diameter and nice and flexible. Another reason to have them outside especially when older, don't want to be next to them if they blow up. This is for folks who have old ones in their garage.

With compressors the bigger the better. I remember the police in Pa. They'd pull you over even 1mph over. I like HF tools. For the guy that doesn't use his tools for a living, most of them are plenty good enough. I had the 20 gallon version. It worked great. Now that I'm settled in I need to get another larger one.
@SladesVWBeetle

@@SladesVWBeetle That's plenty big. I was talking about me. Right now I've got basically a portable bubble. I think it's like 3 gallons. I'd love to have another 20 gallon. That's big enough for just about anything. I used to powder coat and sand blast with the 20 I had.

Hey Slade..glad you got the extended warranty you may need it..i bought a oil less compressor when they first came out..it was alright for a couple of years they didn't have the extended warranty back in 91..i bought it from home depot..I've been through a few since then..i have two a 60 gal and a 20 gal..Ingersoll Rand..they are very good and you can get parts for them if needed..i used to be pretty hard on compressors..sanding and sand blasting and power tools..I've slowed down since then and probably will never need another compressor..the oil less compressor was a waste of money for me..when it puked the only to fix it was to buy another head..and it wasn't cheap..its been long gone ..thanks for the trip to harbor freight we have one 20 minutes away..see you on the next one Cheers friend 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Thanks for going with me my friend! Oh I need to buy the extended warranty with what I bought lol I’m trying to budget right now until I get the car done, of course I’ll just be onto the next car after that lol down the road I’m going to buy a 60 gallon, that requires oil. For the longevity for sure my friend.

Nice review on that compressor. I’m using a 60 gallon compressor and even when I use my air tools it demand a lot off airflow. So I use bigger diameter lines( otherwise your tool will have no power) this compressor is indeed for hobby work, just watch out for overheating, that will be killed in a instant. Bin there and it’s costly if you brake one. But you have extended warranty lol. Nice video👍👍👍

If you have to send it back for a swap for some reason, harbour freight will probably just junk it. I dont think anyone fixes any returns now days. Good to see another grand Cherokee fan. Mines the 3ltr v6 diesel.

Yes you’re probably right, it will work for now since I’m on a budget and I plan on going bigger later. The Cherokees been great so far, I have the four-cylinder unfortunately. @@Paulman50 I hope so!! Some thing about the nine speed transmission they put in it is causing problems. I’ve seen a lot of complaints online. Mine has 60,000 miles. It don’t say when to get the transmission fluid changed. But I think I’m going to take it to the dealer and get it done. Mine doesn’t have no way of checking the level. I’m not used to having to pay to get things done. But it’s probably for the best. I absolutely love driving this vehicle. I am technically very gentle on it.
